I am trying to Update my C V and the thing I want to add is in a Table, now all I want to do is add another row onto the table to another Qualification, and I thought if I just Right clicked I would have a Add Rows Option but I don't Last time I did this I had to delete the whole table and start again, but it was a right mess as it was a different size and then the font was different it took me about 2 hours and a lot of swearing to get there, clearly I want to avoid that situation again

please excuse me for being old and possibly Stupid

Best place for this I think.

Recently got a new computer and with some words they come up green and underlined (like email and competition, example), if you put your mouse on it a little box appears and it shows a search result thingy (easyline ads or some shit). Is there a way to turn this off?

C Cleaner download http://ccleaner.en.softonic.com/download

Avast download http://download.cnet.com/Avast-Free-Antivirus/3000-2239_4-10019223.html

If you run CCleaner at the end of your session, then all your browsing history, and cookies collected etc are cleaned. If you want to stay logged in, move the cookies you want to keep to the right side of the cookie table. All not moved will be cleaned, so your passwords etc will need to be resubmitted. Registry editor is worth running now and then (press fix all). Drive wiper will protect your privacy by erasing / cleaning all unused space, so those of you who don't want your wife seeing you've been watching Abba might use that lol. Start up programmes are generally accessed by typing msconfig in your search panel after pressing start, but you can do it all via C Cleaner too. I only have Avast running as a start up programme. Everything else makes my pc slower just as having all your electrics on in the house when you only need the tv uses electricity etc.

Flash cookies are different to normal cookies.

http://www.piriform.com/docs/ccleaner/ccleaner-settings/cleaning-flash-cookies

If you want CCleaner to delete flash cookies too, then read the above link / or / go to CCleaner / applications / multimedia and tick the Adobe flash box if not already ticked.

Also, go here: http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager03.html and turn off what you want.

You will see 'tidaltv' cookie in my right side panel in CCleaner cookies. I went to 'ad choice opt out' and downloaded the cookie, then moved it to the right. I've not had the stupid adverts such as you get on Evertontv since.

EBAY is a big culprit.

http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/account/adchoice.html#will

LOG IN. Go to Account. Hover over and press 'site preferences'.

http://my.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?MyeBay&ssPageName=successAuthorization

Then browse down to general preferences and advertising preferences and edit to no.

Also go here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbc.com/ad-choices/ and opt out

Here too: http://www.bbc.co.uk/privacy/cookies/managing/cookie-settings.html

If you then check your cookies, and see the tidaltv one etc, save it to the right.

*please note: I am not a pc expert, and don't know if the tidaltv cookie is something you should keep. It simply worked for me.

The forum here is often slow to load, as I'm fairly sure there are lots of faults in the database, and strictly speaking I've never found so many issues with a forum since my time on the Internet. We'd be better off with a completely new forum and swap a few things across.

As for the rest of the Internet, be sure to keep running CCleaner or a similar programme, and a registry cleaner, and most of your pc issues will be kept at bay.

Before getting my new computer I found TT extremely slow, so much so that I mostly just came on it on the mobile site on my phone, but it runs fine on the new computer.

What is CCleaner btw? I just know how to use computers and not much past that tbh.
