Dalziel Kane
I can only just remember Millwall in the first division They got relegated that year? They won the (then) second division league in 1987-88, went top of the league for a few weeks in around September of that calendar year, but were relegated in 1989-90 and have never been back in the top flight of english soccer since that time. Some EPL ground staff can only be thankful. In any event, here are todays relevant details Jimmy Husband - center forward of the Catterick tenure perhaps most remembered for a miss in the 1968 FA Cup Final defeat to West Bromwich Albion. Won a League Championship medal in 1969-70 - 66 Years Old Alex Nyarko - short lived african player that saw a memorable incident at Highbury stadium and was soon to depart. Not a name to remember other than that - 40 Years Old Todays past events 2005 - a 0 - 2 loss at Tottenham in the League 1997 - a 1 - 4 loss at Highfield Road to Coventry City in the League Cup - Everton were shit that night - along with the weather 1994 - a 0 - 2 loss at home to Coventry City in the League 1983 - a 0 - 1 loss at home to Luton Town in the League. Kendall was under growing pressure 1977 - a 1 - 0 home win over Bristol City in the League 1969 - a 0 - 2 loss at Maine Road to Manchester City in the League Cup. They may have won the competition that season although not 100 per cent on that. Did win the European Cup Winners Cup though 1963 - a 4 - 1 home win over Sheffield United in the League 1960 - a 3 - 2 win at Fulham in the League 1898 - a 5 - 5 draw at the Baseball Ground with Derby County in the League 1887 - a 0 - 1 loss against Bolton at a neutral venue in the FA Cup - which is widely accepted as being Everton Football Club's first "proper" game. (The football league was still a year away from being introduced) I.E. This game was the first in which the club really became recognized or it was actually recorded with full statistics - damn interesting Here's a link to this important day http://www.evertoncollection.org.uk/article?id=ART93877
