Justincredible
Hi all, I'm new to this site so be kind... I've been a life long Everton fan and try to get to as many games as possible each year. It's been tough as I live in Northampton and have generally always worked Saturdays. Now I'm going up to Goodison on Saturday for the game (on my own) but wondered a few things: Rather than buy from the ticket office as I normally do, can I buy a spare ticket from someone? This is not to save money but so I can sit with the true fans and also maybe get involved with the banter as I'll be on my own. Also, is there a decent pub where all the fans congregate prior to the game? I'm staying over Saturday night too, any recommendations on where I can go later? Thanks all and hopefully this site will deliver :-) COYB
Matt
welcome to the forum mate. Try stub hub for the spare tickets, though be wary of certain dicks trying to extort fellow fans.... Cant help with the rest really, best of luck! Bill
With it being Southampton there will be quite a few tickets left, should be able to pick up a ticket in the popular areas. There's any number of pubs in the County road, Walton road area, if you go to the Wilmslow in Goodison road just opposite the ground it will be full of EFC fans, but you may have to pay £1 to the doorman to squeeze in. Rob W
as for what to do in the evening, I am from london so every time I go to goodison I stay over and you cant beat the Cavern club if u are from out of town (and you know the history of the cavern)

Avinalaff
Up the steps from the Paradise St bus stops .... http://www.redhot-worldbuffet.com/redhot_liverpool.html I think midweek it's 12 quid for an all you can eat experience. One of the best restaurants I've had the pleasure of.
Louis
I didn't like the World Buffet to be honest, it's too busy and the food wasn't good quality.

I went about July and loved it, though food is very personal. I had a little bit of nearly everything lol.

pete0
http://www.vivabrazilrestaurants.com/ Brazilian food, basically meat, meat, and more meat . On the corner of Bar and Grill which is one of the pricier restaurants. Personally I prefer MEET Argentina (next door to Bar and Grill), but Viva Brazil offers the best value especially if you go at lunch time. I've been to that website and the first photo I see is of meat being grilled above flames, which is a mistake against the basics of barbequeing. Not criticising, just showing off my knowledge Edited September 25, 2012 by Mirallas
