Premier league history!

Everton have created a piece of Premier league history.

They are the only team in the history of the Premier league to go behind in six consecutive games and still avoid defeat!

Ok, so going behind in six games isn't much fun or good for he blood pressure, but to avoid defeat in those games shows heads don't drop.

How close to Peter Reids statement from the 80's "even when we went a goal behind, we still knew we'd win" !

Teams that don't lose, win cups......FA cup coming up, might be worth a few quid.smile.png

No team will want......away to Eveton!

Being quick, there are actual places called Everton in Arkansas, Indiana and Texas, and may be some others yet to come to the fore. And wasn't it Andrew Gray who said the above bit and not Reid ? I.E. (Gray) "It didn't matter if we went behind, we had such confidence in ourselves, that we'll score two" etc.

Going to be a real letdown to some when we don't win the FA cup next year. Not because we don't have the capabilities or the players to do it, but Moyes isn't interested in any honor or trophy to win. Merely 'let's finish in a respectable place in the league'. No sense in arguing that over.

Moyes either loses his composure, the team goes for a fucking burton at the most critical times of progression and above all else Moyes simply doesn't have it down as an objective of his or seems to want to win anything, merely let's concentrate on the league.

You can quote me on this at the end of season

Could have been Andy Gray......one of the 80's boys.As for your thoughts on the FA cup, can't believe Moyes isn't 100% after it, got pretty close the other year.

And in Hampshire, UK not New Hampshire or whatever the Americans might call the place!
