As you say, Atletico have a strong squad and it's increasingly difficult for him to get regular games. I think he's good enough to get back in the team but it's hard for him. If he joined you I think he'd be potentially your best player. Lots of factors and variables of course, but purely based on talent he has it in him to be another very successful La Liga import. Edit: just opened the link properly and apparently the source is a tabloid. I'd take it with a pinch of salt therefore, but then he is the sort of player Martinez likes and he isn't playing regularly as you say, so it might be one of those times where they're not just making up lies.
