I voted for Roche, she lost out to James Rodriguez.I think it's kind of silly to have men and women in the same category. Roche had no chance of winning with a goal from the Irish women's league(?), Rodriguez was always going to win it with the volley from the World Cup. But she got a lot more votes than van Persie so that logic doesn't really stack up . Hers was undoubtedly the best goal and if it'd been scored by a man it would undoubtedly have won, so I agree with you on that. I'd have put Van Persie ahead of James as well personally, in fact looking at the full video James wouldn't have even been in my top three.
