Louis
http://www.people.co.uk/sport/football/tm_...-name_page.html I wouldn't object.. from what I've seen of him he is a decent player and I heard that we are in for another Oz player so this would make sense. aaron
Sounds like a DM, taking carsleys role perhaps?
EFC fan in oz
I rate Vinny Grella highly, better than Carsley in that role and can play some good football. Is the unsung hero of the Australian squad and would be a great signing although i think alot of clubs would be alerted to him if he's available - especially if he has a good Asian cup. Maghull70
He's not a bad player. Mind you, hes as thick as shit but as long as he performs on the pitch who cares!! However, 'the people' is not the most credible source. So I wont be holding my breath.
jamiemaher85
in the Mail today it says that Cahill wants grella to play for us. of course that means jackshit, he could say he wants Kaka to play for us but it don't mean its gonna happen. Quality journalism from the Mail as always
Glenjamin
Vinnie Grella would be a great signing if this is true. I have seen him play and he loves tackling and passing the ball to the mids. He is the link for the australian def to attack.
RuffRob
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vince_Grella 28 years old, Austrailia and Parma Captain. Got plenty of praise during the World Cup. A lot would depend on how much
Everton_Worshiper
Never heard of him, never seen him play (don't watch Italian football). Surely Moyes, as the manager, makes the decisions and not the players...so will wait and see on this one. What sort of prices are been mentioned? aaron
its not that players are telling him who to buy they are surgesting it to him, and obvs moyes likes the lad if we are infact tracking him.
Fosse Captain
i've not heard of him but going on the reports and the fact he plays international football surely (if we are actually interested) proves we are moving in the right direction. Increasing the squad, improving the squad. Whether or not its true remains to be seen. Gotta love the papers!!
Pat
Tidy work horse / Water Carrier type. Very sound defensively. No excitemnt machine but very solid. I have heard 2.5 mill , could do much worse 4 that amount. The Carsley type roll is his bread & Butter.
CraccerC
if he uefa and premiership standard pat, could he fit in here u think?
Pat
From what Ive seem he never looks out of his depth, 6/7 years pedigree in serie A & Captain of his 2nd club there suggest's he SHould cut it. Though little known Serie A Stars do still send a cold shidder ( Per Kroldrop anubody).
EFC fan in oz
Just seen on the ever reliable tribalfootball website... that Torino are in contract talks with him, apparently his deal expires next month. Doubt he'd be on big wages and for a free transfer would be a great signing, doubt he'd make a decision until the asian cup is ended though.
