Nsno Wishful Thinking

NSNO had an "exclusive" yesterday...

Enigmatic Dutch winger Andy van der Meyde wants to leave Everton Football Club.

Reported on the Dutch news yesterday, the midfielder, signed from Inter Milan in 2005, has become frustrated with the lack of first team opportunities given to him by manager David Moyes.

Van der Meyde is believed to favour staying in England.

He has made only 21 appearances in his two seasons at the Goodison Park club.

...unatributed "...on the Dutch news." Such a poor effort at instigating a rumour that no-one else, not even the most outrageously fabricated web-sites, bothered picking up on it. Shame on you NSNO, just wanting something really badly doesn't make it true, didn't your parents ever teach you that :P ?

VDM ...... He has made only 21 appearances in his two seasons at the Goodison Park club.

......

And not once did he complete 90 minutes in any game, he must have been paid about £3 million pounds for that.

If i ever saw him in town i'd give him a swift kick up the arse and tell him exactly what i thought of him, FOOKIN WASTER.

A late edit, cos ive since found out that he did complete 90 mins Versus Blackburn in a cup round. Hoorah for Shandy VDM.

I really wish you'd get off the fence Bill and tell us what you really think about the enigma that is Andy VDM....you're so indecisive at times :P .

PS...bet myself a small sum you'd be the first to reply to this....you could smell a VDM post from the top of Hellvellen  !

I wish i was up Helvellyn right now just about to step onto Striding Edge, this close season does my head in at weekends, You guessed right Mike, something told me there was a controversial post somewhere. :D:D

:lol: knew I'd spelt that wrong...just didn't look right but I couldn't be arsed to check.

Know the feeling though...used to get moderatley excited by the county cricket when my dad was alive...he loved it...but I've lost interest now. Pre-season can't come quick enough...can't wait to see the Dutch maestro knocking them in from twenty-five yards....or should that be knocking them back in twenty-five bars  ?

I'm talking about 20 years ago, love that walk. I must admit though, about 7 years ago I was doing the PT for a bit of fun and I saw a whole family going up there in vests and flip-flops. I passed them about half way up and acknowledged them (as you do) I was sat on top looking out towards the Irish Sea (good day obviously), they appeared about 2 hours later. Feet ripped to shreds, covered in sweat and the kids crying like they had been slapped.

They got the train back down, after egg and chips in the cafe. <_<

Back on topic I take it all back. NSNO have successfully got this as far as the Mirror...

The Holland international derided the Toffees in an interview with a television station in his home country, insisting that he needs to move to find a decent level of first-team football

.....still unatributed, no exact quote, someone at the Mirror had a little space to fill in the football gossip section so they included it. I take off my hat to NSNO, but the redtop press falls lower (if that were possible) in my estimation and into the gutter.
