GoldfishMemory
Real Madrid have sacked coach Fabio Capello, 11 days after he led the Spanish giants to their first league title since 2003. The 61-year-old still had two years to run on his contract at the Bernabeu, but drew criticism for his tactics. Real president Ramon Calderon told Marca newspaper: "We've laid the foundations, but we need to find a more enthusiastic way of playing." Getafe's German coach Bernd Schuster is tipped to succeed Capello. The politics involved in football on the continent are mind boggling
Ian
Thankless job the madrid one, won the league with a team IMO that is inferior to that of Barcas! If Wenger goes there Arsenal are well and truely fooked
Philinsuffolk
These past few seasons they had the "Galacticos" and won nothing. Capello comes in, wins them the title from a great Barca side and they sack him. Shameless. I hope they win nothing next season for the sheer arrogance they show.
