Louis
Does anybody know if a decision has been made to allow a british XI team to compete in the Olympics. As far as I know Scotland have said they don't want to be represented but Wales are ok with it.
MikeO
They were talking about this earlier at the womens world cup, because we've qualified for the Olympics in the womens at Beijing having been in the top three European sides in the competition. Still no decision made I don't think, because the smaller country's FA's are worried that once the precedent is set it'll spill over into the World Cup and European Champs as well. Think the Under21's have qualified the mens side for the Beijing games as well if it can be sorted.
Romey 1878
Let's face it, it will basically be England anyway because players from the Welsh squad are pretty substandard, same goes for the Irish players.
