Bill Posted January 21, 2008 Report Share Posted January 21, 2008 Dont think he failed it He never had one, we were all set to sign, the lad wanted to sign but damaged his ankle the week before, so we pulled out because he couldnt take the Medical. Thats ok if you stick to that principal But the club didnt in VDMs case, we signed him without a medical, he supposedly had a groin strain when he arrived, we went ahead and signed him but have regretted it big time, he arrived unfit and has never been fit since. I hope they learnt their lesson. On the Davies rumour ..... I know we are desperately short in Midfield, (what happened to Manny) but in all honesty I think we should be looking at higher class players than this, His medical record is a bit dodgy, seems to get injured on a regular basis, and when Pienaar, Osman, Fernandes, Cahill and Arteta are back fit i cant see him pushing any of them for a place in the side.
