  1. But Delph is actually taking his medical today so they got a bit closer with him than we ever did with Naughton .
  2. If they sign enough players so that they can rotate their squad and still ahve quality on the pitch, then yes it will be of a level we can only dream of. We might bring in as many players as they do but I'd put money on their squad players being better than ours because ours will more than likely be of the standard of Segundo Castillo.
  3. Which is why I'm saying they're building a squad by bringing in players that play in the same position as others they already have...
  4. He's taking part in Arsenal's open training session right now.
  5. Delph can play in the centre of midfield too, and he's going to know he's not going to play a lot anyway so I don't see there being an issue. And as has already been mentioned O'Neill will just rotate when the need arises, something we could only dream of.
  6. We're talking about the top we wore against the MLS All-Stars mate, it was quite nice.
  7. Do you watch every single second of every Arsenal match to rate him highly? Didn't think so. You're judging him on the few games you'll have seen him play too.
  8. Nope, they're doing what any good team does and building a squad. It's a strange concept as an Evertonian I know.
  9. There's already a Senderos thread folks. Merged.
  10. In the local papers now too http://icliverpool.icnetwork.co.uk/0400evertonfc/0100news//tm_headline=everton-s-joleon-lescott-asks-for-transfer-but-david-moyes-says-no%26method=full%26objectid=24310480%26siteid=50061-name_page.html
  11. There hasn't been money available for a few years now, I don't see that changing in the near future.
  12. Being an Everton fan and season ticket holder means I don't need the media to point out the mistakes our defenders make mate, so I don't really see your point. I don't rate Senderos in the slightest, I think he's a liability, but if he signs then I live in hope for a big improvement because we'll need him to step in for pretty much the whole season with Jags out for a good while, Joey going to the ACN and Lescott probably leaving.
  13. I'm getting tired of our only real transfer news being that of a quality player leaving .
  14. It's not blind ignorance having a difference of opinion. I don't think you're ignorant for forgetting about his numerous howlers, you're entitled to your view.

  20. They're probably just taking a swipe at us because of how we dealt with them over the Garbutt deal.
  21. Rhubarb and custard sweets are bloody lovely .
  22. Well then, when we were listed on the rich list based on our shareholders we shouldn't have been because that was largely due to Lord Granchester.
  23. Bollocks . Although, it's a signing (maybe) so at least it's something.
