  3. @lecarso: Great news Hibbo staying loved playing with him 100% commitment everyday, every game..
  4. Thank fuck for that , I thought I must have been writing in a different language there!
  5. Your missing my point. Naismith was our only fit forward and so we had nothing to come off the bench. Had we either kept Jelavic or signed a forward fit enough to get on the pitch we would have had more options
  6. Yeas that's correct We went into the January window right in the mix for 4th but we failed to strengthen the squad and fell away as a consequence. Before that window we already needed to bring in another CF so when we let Jelavic go we needed 2 and didn't end up getting any Yes overall it was a good season but how much better could it have been? To go into the second half of the season with just Naismith and Lukaku as our only recognised forwards was a bad call IMO Lukaku getting injured was unfortunate but the Traore saga was just a farce
  7. Surprised at the length of the deal I think it shows the club have faith in him. Just as well really because I have a feeling we are going to need him
  8. I was reffering more to Jelavic. When he left Naismith was our only fit forward so we had nobody to come off the bench. In some games Naismith was looking tired and/or innefective but we had no other options I had no problem with Roberto selling Hietinga and Jelavic but I just think he should have did what he said he was going to do and bring in replacements first
  9. I don't think it is just mind games though. Such as letting Hietinga and Jelavic go in January without replacing them had a detrimental effect on the club IMO

  12. Moyes always used to take the competition seriously , what makes you so certain that Martinez will be any different?
  13. Maybe we have learnt from past lessons not to announce anything until the ink is drying on the contratct
  14. Barry doesn't play for Everton so I didn't pick him!
  15. Howard Coleman Jags Distin Baines McCarthy Gibson Mirallas Piennar Barkley Naismith
  16. If we go into it with that attitude there is absolutely no way we will make it out of the group stages. We should start with our strongest possible line up and once we have qualified play the kids/fringe players in the remaining games otherwise there was no point qualifying in the first place
  17. All the out of contact players become available on Tuesday so wonder if that will be the signal for a flurry of transfer activity from Everton?

  21. Who would you drop from our midfield to enable us to deploy a 3-5-2 formation?
  22. I read somewhere that the NYFC offer was no longer on the table as they were going for Frank Lampard instead
  23. I don't know about a weeks wages but its what a Uruguayan centre forward would splash out on eating an Italian
