It depends what package you go for. If you go for one that includes digital tv, it would replace it. You'd get more a lot more channels but it comes at a price (as I said above it'd be £30 per month for 12 months *£360*). Nope. If you go for cable you can completely get rid of BT. With telewest and NTL (now the same company actually just not in name) you can get phonelines, digital tv and 2mb internet for £30 a month for 12 months and then £35 after that.

They use their own cable. They usually add their own phone sockets next to the existing BT sockets (they usually physically disconnect them too - cheeky buggars!). The quality of the sound over cable is a lot better than BT lines. You can keep your current number too. BT may charge you for disconnection if you have been with them for less than 12 months.

I think your being unfair on Wyness. The reason he has cost 400k is because he has steered the club towards operating profits. The season before he came in we made a lost of aproximately 4m on the business side only, he is paid a tenth of that and the club has just announced a profit of 3.5million. Thats a 7.5million improvement thanks to Wyness alone.

mikeo - You have it in a nutshell. The club are still improving! Bare in mind this season we have signed Lescott and Johnson for big money. If we didn't sign any new players we would have made a profit.
