  1. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a4Uz60gIJKo Shame.. all he needed to do was stick his foot out - it's horrible to watch because the ball is so close to him and he fails to react.
  2. Gamestation has core with pro evo 6 and gears of war for 220, you can get a hard drive around 45 quid now (ebay). So it works out a steal. Although the wireless controllers can work out expensive. I have a wireless controller and a play/charge kit - it works out at 45quid. That's a disgusting price when you think about it.
  3. I always use it, it takes up to three weeks to receive payments but it's worth it. It's very good. They do take a fiver for using it though - although it soon pays for itself.
  4. No one expected Nuno to lose possession the way he did and he caught our whole defence out, Tim Howard wasn't expecting it. Yobo was tying his bootlaces.. look again. He never had a chance to get involved and as soon as he reacted the ball was in the back of our net.
  5. I'm not sure if you've seen this but it's a decent read none the less. Wearing the green-and-white colours of Nigeria’s national team is the dream of every Nigerian player, and Everton defender, Joseph Yobo, took his time to encourage fellow teammate, Victor Anichebe, to honour the Under-20 invitation. Concerned about the way the player has been playing hide-and-seek with the Nigerian football officials, on the recent invitation extended to him, Yobo said it had been Anichebe’s dream to play for Nigeria. "Nigeria is blessed with a lot of talents. Victor is a good player, I saw him graduate from the junior into the senior team of Everton. Also, our boys are playing in almost all the countries across the world. Victor is a proper Nigerian because his two parents are Nigerians. I don’t have to influence his decision to play for Nigeria, it has been his dream before we met. He had made up his mind on that issue and when the opportunity came, he did not think of it twice. “He was invited by England’s Under-19, when he started doing well. Later, Victor came to me and asked what to do because he didn’t know much about Nigeria...and I was very fair to him as a big brother. I told him the very truth. In my own opinion, I think it would be better for him to play for Nigeria, because he would do well at the youth level. He has the potentials and ability to graduate to the senior national team, unlike the English team that’s noted for their ‘use-and-dump’ syndrome. “I told him how the system works in Nigeria, that he’s going to enjoy playing for the country, and he would be honoured and respected. So, he had made up his mind ever before I spoke to him or gave him the advise," Yobo said. Everton Yobo also spoke about his dream to help Everton clinch the UEFA Championship ticket this season with the quality of players in the team at present; how it has been difficult for his coach, David Moyes, to release him for national assignments. "It’s always very difficult when you are out of the team for one reason or the other,” he said. “It’s always difficult when a player is removed from the defence. Moyes is not always happy when I leave for national assignment or get injured. I believe the manager believes in me. I had a good relationship with the chairman of the club and I was happy to sign a new deal with them. “At present, we have good players and we hope the season would be better and with the calibre of players in our kitty, I think we should finish at the top six position in the league. NATIONS CUP Yobo and youthful Chinedu Ogbuke were said to be inspirational in the Super Eagles’ last duel against Lesotho in the Nations Cup qualifier. The Everton star said he likes to play his best and to ensure that Nigeria move up in Africa and in world football. "We just want to take each game as it comes. We know it’s not going to be easy, as other countries are already coming up in African football. And it would be good if the coach could make use of younger players, with the support of experienced players. It would help us a lot. There’s no reason for us not to qualify". FOREIGN COACH Yobo, however, made a strong case for the present technical crew, led by coach Austin Eguavoen, saying they could improve if allowed to continue. "Eguavoen and Co. are capable of doing the job. They’ve got all it takes but they need the backing of all Nigerians, especially the people at the helm of sports in the country. They need the support of the players to succeed because without the players, they would not be able to make any tangible impact. "In this business, the players are very important because they play active roles. If the players are not playing well, they blame the coach, but they forget that the coach can’t play the ball, so they (coaches) need the support of the players to succeed.” EAGLES CAPTAINCY Yobo has been opportuned to captain Super Eagles on many occasions but said that was not his priority for now. Since the retirement of Austin Jay-Jay Okocha, the Eagles captaincy has been moving between him and Nwankwo Kanu. "I just want to play my game. For me, Eagles captaincy is a great responsbility, even when I’m not wearing the band, I just make sure all is well on the pitch. Everyone believes in me and my teammates have been so supportive,” he affirms.

  12. 1. Putting up xmas decorations ALWAYS causes arguments and only increases the electric bill. (Oh no. I sound like licker!!) 2. It's too expensive. I am kind of generous when it comes to presents though I bought my mum a bike, and my stepdad a Berghaus jacket. 3. Christmas Dinner is the same as every other sunday roast! Ok so sub chicken for turkey. We may have an additional prawn cocktail. No one else ever comes so its just me and parents - same as every sunday. 4. I despise the xmas songs with the exception of the Pogues and strangely Wham! I despise Cliff Richard (although Devil Woman is decent!). Happy?

  17. Check out this guide on their website - http://www.quidco.com/about/ Basically, most big companies with online presence take part in what is known as Affiliate Marketing. This involves using 3rd party websites as Affiliates, essentially hosting ads for the original company or promoting it in some way. For this, the 3rd party site receives a fee - usually per new customer signed-up, lead generated etc What Quidco does is pull all these Affiliate links together in one place, and it passes all the Affiliate Income it receives directly on to the customer (minus a £5 annual fee) So taking play.com as an example: You might see a banner ad or link to play.com on some random website. You click on the link, and buy that CD you've been after. The random website will get paid for that - you get nothing Through Quidco, the 2% they would receive gets passed onto you directly Spend some time reading through the site and the blog, and you'll get the general idea. There's plenty of people to lend a hand on the Quidco thread - http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/...245938&page=51 It's a really simple and easy way to make a lot of money on the things you'd do anyway. Speaking for myself, I've made about £800 already this year and there's plenty of people who've made more. There's loads of sites on Quidco, so anything ou're going to buy online, check whether you can get cash back through Quidco
  18. Thats a good deal youve found Everton lad. The difference between the deals are hte controller and hard drive.. For the price of those two games its cheaper to buy a second hand hard drive (or memory card) and a second controller.
  19. Have you had them sausages? When I was younger we'd go to Llangollen and theres a butchers there who do them. They're bloody lovely. Still a bit daft though - still.. they could say that 'Dragon' is welsh slang for pig and get away with it
  20. Turner has no chance.. hes playing for Palace. I can see it being Wright with someone like Stubhaug on the bench. If Moyes brings in someone else just for the game then we will know for sure that Wright is on his way out.
