    Yeah Butland is good even simply looking at it as a financial investment. But from any point of view. Howard is 33 which still isn't retirement age for a goalkeeper normally, but... it's always good to have an ace in hands.

    I think he is overrated. I don't get why EPL teams chase Llorente, while you never hear of attempts to sign a formidable striker like Falcao.

    Why would Dempsey be worse than Llorente? Dempsey scores just as much, but he's a midfielder, so that's actually more impressive, plus he's got experience with the EPL, unlike Llorente.

    Negotiation techniques. Get them sweating under the pressure that the transfer window closes in a few hours. They'll do crazy things (January 2011, Torres => Chelsea). If Everton can get like say 30 million + Ramsey or some other alternative then that'll be great for Everton's finances.

    Everton should consider a move for defender Ryan Donk. He's within the acceptable price range, EPL material and quite young. Plus he's Dutch, so he'll be motivated to pair up with Heitinga to finally earn his place in the Dutch national team. But that's just me.
