  1. I like this rumour. Good striker, and on a free it should be an excellent deal.
  2. Brilliant! Bradford actually have a shot at European football next season.
  3. It won't happen but it would be hilarious if they went down now
  4. I don't think Stoke have lost at home yet this season, so it will be a pretty tough fixture. I can see another 1-1 here to be honest.
  5. Started for Sporting tonight... And it's against Benfica! Doesn't get much bigger than that in Portugal. Doing well so far, Sporting 1-0 up.
  6. Kompany Hazard Aguero Hart Hart; Coleman - Jagielka - Kompany - Baines; Fellaini - Gibson; Mirallas - Pienaar - Hazard; Aguero The 5th player would probably be Torres for a laugh.
  7. A few young, talented players in the Portuguese league right now. Porto have James Rodriguez, who you're probably aware of, and there's also Christian Atsu. He's a very skillful winger, made his debut for Ghana earlier this year. Benfica also have a couple of very good prospects. Ola John and Rodrigo are the most exciting ones. Rodrigo actually had a spell at Bolton on loan if memory serves me correctly. Wouldn't surprise me to see him called up by Spain over the next couple of years. He's been scoring plenty of goals for their U21s. Sporting are going through a pretty bad patch at the moment, however their academy is still as strong as ever. This season saw the introduction of B teams in the Portuguese league, and Sporting B were running away with the second tier at one point (they're in second place now). Besides Eric Dier, obviously, other very promising players include Bruma, Esgaio and Diego Rubio. Remember the names people.
  8. Slightly off topic but I've had this horrible feeling for a while that Mourinho will manage Liverpool at some point If it happens hopefully he'll be senile by then, but a senile Mourinho would still be better than Dalglish...
  9. Coleman for me. Though Gibson and Distin were excellent as well.
  10. Was hoping to get tickets for an away tie though so not the best as Mike said...
  11. Happy with that, although Hereford know a thing or two about giant killing
  12. Just realised Bale went off injured today. Wouldn't mind him not playing next Sunday. It appears he will be out for a fortnight, so should miss our match: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/20570092
  13. Wigan away comes to mind as well.
  14. Yes you're right. My bad for listening to what they say on TV
  15. Really? I could have sworn I heard it on MOTD! Ah well...
  16. I saw it mentioned somewhere last week that we're top of the table for results at HT. And that's having conceded the first goal inside the first 10-15 minutes more times than I can remember.
  17. Gibson was quite good today. Mirallas should be back for the Spurs match hopefully, which means we'd be able to put our strongest XI out there for once.
  18. Thought Gibson and Osman were quite good, and were very important in keeping City from putting too much pressure on us. Going with Gibson because he just came back from injury so it's even more impressive.
  19. We were good in the last 20 minutes or so keeping City at bay. I was afraid we'd just start playing deeper and deeper. Very good point on paper, but you get the feeling it could have been all 3. Nothing new there then.
  20. Far too tame this half, I'm afraid it will be a matter of tiem if we carry on like this.
  21. I'm almost starting to believe it's more of an Everton bothering the top 4 whiff
