Bryan Oviedo
Costa Rican friend replied to Romey 1878's topic in General Football and Sport Discussion
LATEST NEWS, Oviedo is out of the CR list, he's gong to be intervened to remove some pins out from his leg from the time of the operation. It is weird though that if this was scheduled and well known why was he called in first place? Hope this is not a step back on his recovery. -

Don't worry, I don't think Wanchope will jeopardize his recovery process, he will probably use a similar approach to Martinez, 30-45 minutes per game and we all win a better player on his return. -
Hi guys, any chance we could see Oviedo today? Is he already up to the high performance competition? Good luck today, I don't see us losing this game.

Wondering when's the Russian pal is going to show up now... -
Nice text, we are not in South America though, we are in Central America. I believe this international break comes in a good moment for him and will give him time enough to recover his fitness. He'll have to wait for his chance obviously, but that is something he knows to do well, meanwhile keep singing him that Oviedo baby song, we all love it as much as he does.

This. I also think they are far more worried about having us in their group than us about them, although as many of you have already mentioned it is not going to be easy at all. Closest thing to a death group IMO. -
Your right wing should be Joel Campbell, I would love to see him here and not in that so called -well merchandised though- big team he is. He could be second striker as well. Seems a long shot either way.

Successful surgery apparently, good first step for a very long road.

Needless to mention we are devastated here in CR, the images are raw enough to make you feel sick, he's a good lad and didn't deserve that all (who deserves it anyway). He does feel grateful for all the support received both from evertonians and costa ricans, and overall the world including players like Radamel Falcao and Hugo Rodallega. WC is indeed a huge doubt now, but he's positive and although the chances are minimum there's a light of hope, let's see what happens. Strangely this wouldn't be the first WC he misses, he already missed U-17 South Korea 2007. Such a bad luck.

Man of the Match at Old Trafford

You'll understand I had to vote for Bryan, I couldn't forgive myself if I don't. -
Ah, i remember that goal, Schmeichel was GK for them, which made it even better, what a beauty. Tonight's goal by Bryan is probably even more important than that one to a club level. PD, now that you mention it last December 1st we arrived to 65 years with no army.
-
hehe, i think Bryan has raised the bar extremely high... I honestly think he is not fully aware of what he has just made...
-
Heeeyyyy!!! Nah, you are right! COYB!!
-
How's my countryman Oviedo doing? COYB.
-
Glad to see Moyes reads my coments and is starting with Oviedo... lol
-
Really looking forward to see my country man on this one, I think he can bring something else to the pitch. BTW, is it going to be broadcasted? or at least in the web?
-
Nice 3 points, great
-
3/4 of the goal thanks to Jelavic
-
Fair enough... anyway COYB!
-
Hi, I don't know you, you seem to be nice lad, but... couldn't you wait just 5 more minutes?!?!?!?
-
Wow, what a goal!, it reminded me of Roberto Carlos, Baines is probably the best LB currently in the world, even better than Jordi Alba by far.
-
Spot on. But then the left side is considerably stronger than the right side, even with the bench... and, tbh Oviedo on the right side would be a little lost
-
Hello, logged for a while, just the second post though. Be honest with me, do you really think Naismith is better than Oviedo? Is it too crazy to put Pienaar to the right side and enter Oviedo on the left? You might guess what's my feeling...
