I think we are playing to ours strengths at the minute. We dont really have the players to control possesion for long periods of the game. But when we get the ball we try get it out wide and get crosses in for the two big strikers. I agree with McLaren that boro had a lot of ball but its what you do when you have it that matters and Boro didnt do enough to trouble our defence

Keane is not a fast player. Keane is all about his movement but he is a great reader of the game so he is normally a step ahead of the defenders which might make him look quick. He is by no means slow but he isnt as quick as Bent for example (is quicker than Beattie though, some will say thats not hard)

I dont think we actually made that much money from our 4th place finish because we didnt make the money spinning group stage of the champions league so the only money we really got ,was the money from the FA which i think was around 8-9m for finishing 4th(correct me if im wrong). So we would not have made that much more money than someone like Boro who finished 7th.

i think it might be on Premplus because the only other game on sunday is the chelsea V united game which is on sky sports 1 and premplus normally has a game every sunday and it normally starts at 2 o clock aswell - correct me if im wrong

Ferrari is a class act he will get better with every game he plays and i think i told you all that during the summer Valente had a rough start but hes starting to get to speed with things in the premiership and will prove to be a very good signing

Dont really know too much about him but mates tell me he is a good player. I think i heard a rumour that the redshit and of course the skunks were looking at him aswell

same team for me aswell think we can get a win maybe 1-0 again and BT to score

i dont expect much from Andy to begin with. i think it will be another month or so before we see the real VDM. But when he is fit i do expect a lot from him. He isnt the best winger at tracking back infact he just doesnt do that, but everytime he gets the ball you will see him shoot from almost anywhere (believe me seen him play numerous times). I dont think he will actually score many goals (hope im wrong) but he will create a lot of chances. One thing a lot of you will hate is that he tends to go down easy sometimes and it might be a bit frustrating.

Just seen it on the official site that Valente is defo out and Moyes says it doesnt look like Cahill or Dunc will make it either. So we have Ferrari to replace Nuno and in my opinion i would replace Cahill with Davies and let him play in the centre and put bent up front with BT. May i point out that its nice to know we can cope with some injuries (couldnt last year) just hope we get no more.

very good point Wookie i have been trying to make that point to everyone - even the cup game on wednesday is very important we have to win , if we dont i dont think too many people will remember how well we played against chelsea

In my opinion i think we should defo play VDM and Kroldrup in place off Kilbane and Weir. If Cahill isnt fit i would go with Davies as he looked lively when he came on against Chelsea. If Dunc isnt fit i would say play Bent. I dont agree with changing the keeper because i think we need to win this game and really build up confidence. I think this game is more important than people think - if we win the players would be going to saturdays game looking for a win but if we lose doubts would surface again. Lets not forget we are still fragile on confidence. I think we need to play our strongest possible team and really get the season up and running with a good home win.

thought Beattie was very good ran himself into the ground, both Valente and then Ferrari were impressive (think they are starting to settle to the english game)but my man of the match has to go to Arteta. Think we are going to have a gem in this lad get better all the time. Now we need to beat Boro in the cup on Wed. with the same high tempo type play. Maybe a chance to play VDM and Kroldrup.

bottom line is we are looking for someone to score 15-20 goals a season and this lad doesnt do that - robbie keane does score

For some strange reason i think we might get something from this game. Dont ask me why but i just have a feeling about it. I can see Krouldrup starting at the back. Dont know who will be dropped for him though would like to see him play along side Yobo. Dont think Weir could handle the pace and movement.

Very interested in the the game tonight hope they come through it ok and maybe even get them ready for Sunday. Hope BT or VDM get on the scoresheet would give everyone some hope including the players
