Personally I feel that Alex Ferguson is the best manager, with pretty much every club he has won the league with, look what he did at Aberdeen. You can't achieve so much and not be the best manager. Wenger is good, he spots potential but not all of his buys are top class. He's bought some woeful defenders and some awful goalkeepers (can't stand lemon hes the dodgiest one of the lot). Now I'm not saying Fergy hasn't had his share of bad buys but I always look at it from a British point of view, whose done more for British football, and its blantantly Alex Ferguson.

When I was at uni in boro, I lived with a barcode fan he was fuming at how fickle the barcode supporters were. Apparantly, according to him, the stadium wouldn't get filled at all when they were in (then) division 2. As soon as the money men came and got them to the (then) division 1 fans started to appear from no where. Also look at the nearest big team in the North East. It'd have to be Sunderland (but they're crap, next is Boro which is a good half an hour drive away), and the size of Newcastle and the surrounding places such as Durham most people there support Newcastle so its no surprising that they can fill the stadium.

About time though, and hasn't he got a directors box at Chelsea?

Now what kind of attitude is that? Who knows what the future may hold for us and Beattie, he could end up one of our greatest strikers but you still wouldn't rate him? (ok I know a bit extreme that )

Agreed Zed! Was going to mention something about 'boro when I started reading this but you beat me too it, although it weren't hard considering I never get chance to read these forums anymore But I have to say that didn't Manure do the same thing in the CL one year. played all the youngsters such as Scholes, Butt, Beckham, etc and even though they did awful it did give the players valuable experience. Saying that I do agree with Moyes in not bringing on the youngsters as someone said we could be adding th pressure they have to deal with (A rumour I heard was that when Downing was injured and not starting for 'boro after a successful run in the 1st team, he was 'caught' doing coke in a club. Suppose thats one way to deal with the pressure )

As we all know the FA love dishing out fines and match bans to Everton. They especially love doing it to Dunc, the FA a bunch of idiots who need to get their head out of the top teams. I still can't believe no action was taken against Shearer when he blantantly elbowed Weir in the face on purpose. Just because the ref saw it and didn't give anything...I know this has been discussed so I won't go into it in too much detail. Even now it still annoys me though.

Greece is still a side tho aren't they, they still have a manager, coaches, players, everything a side needs really. So what if they are a national side they are still a football team aren't they and that what I said, the best side in Europe I didn't specify I was talking about club or national sides but as teams on a whole:unsure:

So... Whoever wins the European Cup is the best national team in Europe and Whoever wins the World Cup is the best team in the World. Well if so that means Greece is the best team in Europe. Something I do not believe. No offence Kato but we have had this argument soooooooo many times on here with Liverpool fans who have come on here just to slag us off.
