  1. I got one... The pronunciation of which five letter word in the English language ins't changed by removing four of its letters?
  2. Very impressive, that is class
  3. Looked for more information about it but can't see anything. It was sung by Frank Sinatra, Judy Garland and Nina Simone before Gerry and the Pacemakers redone it. Although that information is from wikipedia.
  4. is actually a Man Utd song, well apparently. Heard it on Sky Sports News just then, some fella wrote a book about football songs and there origins. Man U sang YNWA after the Munich disaster. Lookin for more information on internet but nothing so far.
  5. Couldn't agree more, thought Davies was defo on of the top 2 for us. I also didn't understand why we played the long ball, with one up front and him being small what is the point? Lofting it up field meant that we cut out 5 midefielders and there was no chance aj could be a target man. Even if he did win it, there was no one there to flick it on to or pass it to. Thats why I think Vic played so well when he came on as you can punt it up to him and theres a good chance he can hold it up then bring the midfielders in the game. I'm happy with the result considering the conditions we played in and there were a few positives out of the game that hopefully we can build on.
  6. I think hes a centre midfielder, but couldn't tell you whether hes more of a defensive one or an attacking one. Hes probably defensive knowing Portugals midfield set up but thats only a guess.
  7. Yeah 18, when I worked in the 'spoons in Macs town there was a glass collecter who was 17. He weren't allowed to serve on the bar due to being underage. When he turned 18 he was still too scared to work behind the bar so stayed a glass collector for some strange reason. If your serving and your under 18 then obviously the landlord don't give a crap, like most places. Personnally I don't care if there 16 or 18, if they can pour my pint they're old enough for me
  8. Did have a season ticket but when I first went uni I stopped. Still not got one again and I'm happy just to book them now and then as I'm not always available matchdays. I do end up going to more away games though, and want to go too more tbh found them a little more exciting recently
  9. I know its a complete joke. I also very rarely watch the BBC as I find most of the shows they do very tedious. They do have some good ones though such as Mock the Week and that. But it certainly aint worth £150 quid a year. Also the radio annoys me. Spent the whole of summer listening to Radio 1 from 8-6 five days a week. And each show plays the same songs and talk for way too long. Ended up hearing 6 different songs about 10 times a day. Bloody ridiculous, no effort going into it what so ever.
  10. When it concerns money, most certainly OCD
  11. I like this idea. I'm on of those who like to pay in the correct change as I don't like carrying spare change around with me. So I take forever paying, it makes me laugh actually as I hate people who pay with a large note if they only get one thing. After reading Storms comment, would this mean the away fans would have to buy a card to get things? As like he said he never spent all his money on the card at Ajax then we'd be getting some free money off the away fans
  12. LOL They are mint, reminded me of Sid Waddell the famous darts commentator. Not so much double entendres but you do have to question whether hes been sniffin glue before his commentating...Sid Waddell Quotes
  13. All the best to him, put some very commited performances for us and saved our bacon a few times too. Had the pleasure of meeting the guy a few times and he was bloody nice. Can't say a bad word against him.
  14. Did not know that. Just did some research but its not very clear on what condition he is in. It says he played his last concert a couple of months ago but also says hes doing a tour.
  15. A great player for Portugal but I haven't seen his commited performances we see him do for Portugal that much in a Everton shirt. Would still keep him tho as he is far our best left back but would like to see a little more from him.
  16. It does raise Evertons profile in America more, which could attract a buyer I suppose
  17. Morcheeba - World Looking In Something Corporate - Konstantine Blessed Union of Souls - I Believe I have got my itunes on shuffle though
  18. All the best fellas, have a good one. Don't get too drunk and be good
  19. I don't blame anyone really. OK bad mistake to get people on the line but it was a new tactic, had it have worked who knows what people would be sayin. At the end of the day, it was just one of those fluke goals. I can't see that anyone is to blame.
  20. Mine is Cahill, love the way he plays most of the time and his goals, how we've missed him while hes been injured
  21. Very true indeed but there are games when, I for one, would be happy with just a point....
  22. I don't normally like commenting on the atmosphere but a guy, who had tried his best to get it pumpin, stood up today and summed it up... "Come on lads, where your fucking hearts?" Not the best game for Sly to come watch but sod it, role on Wigan and a must must MUST win....
  23. I had a nasty nast ear infection beginning of december. Exactly the same two weeks I had all my exams I found sitting or standing up was the best, although it did leak a little. The pain and the feeling of the ear bunged up and the sound it makes as it 'dissolves' is horrible. Don't want to go through that agin.
