    Hull

i know there was the infamous "we know where you live" chant but that was anfield, i think he has played against us before at Goodison the 3-2 game we lost.
  2. plus The Moores Family dont run the club, the own the biggest shareholding outside of the board, but they never invest save for one time in 2004 possibly when paul gregg said he had Granchester on his side to oust Kenwright
  3. 6 days to shatter "their year" i would sacrafice the league for the cup, although a repeat of west ham away in 2007 wouldnt be bad. The worst possible draw though i thought.
  4. gerrard has always been a recluse and even well documented at being one so him going to a nightclub for starts is out of character, though why would a young father of young children (who are young btw) be out partying the mother doth ask? and dont say because one of the children isnt his!
  5. tottenham score enough own goals as it is they dont need more added. the shot was on target and it would have forced a save out of gomes.
  6. well because of traffic and ice..... i arrived 8minutes and 36 secounds late! so as i went through the turnstiles..... YEAAHHHHHHHHH! a moment earlier i had joked "are we 6-0 up yet?!" Arteta Dominated the midfield both attacking and crucially defensively. good interview with him on the BBC report page. who needs strikers when you have our midfield Pienaar conumdrum he does the same things away from home but they come off at home all his "hollywood" backheels etc never happen! but at least he's there to try them. if we had even 4 more points from home (victories vs boro and newcastle.) we would have 36 points and well placed for 4th!
  7. still nothing on henry winter (closet blue but who cares he's the telegraph's top guy) report last week on everton dumbfounding all with pleasing and penertrating football! we're playing well bring on le chelsea!! in a side note, i would like to point out a RS who tried to cause an arguement at work! i was in them toilet getting changed listening to radio city, when i heard that in i laughed and celebrated, i walked into the staff room, and i was accused of everton being "Jammy Bastards!" i was hasty to point out "how many times has one man saved liverpool?" to which the responce was "we're still top of the league!" (typical rs i know this is more a When Skies are grey post but!.......) 4-6-0 works! good night x
  8. on further inspection he screams Joe when he realises yobo hadnt caught up, He should have Took Young Out, took the red and we take our chances with the set peice. Drunken Revellers to Emo Kids in 30 seconds.... That was a better performance than tottenham! i think the martin "rookie should go back to league 2" atkinson helped us in that the crowd got stoked up by his pisspoor display, what the hell do you do on days like this. Fellaini man of the match, people still getting on his back but he's causing panic in the oppersition defence everytime.
  9. villa are a good team, however dependant on the right winger much like tottenham and with a fast as striker... like tottenham, they have a good english midfielder who can pass the ball nicely.... like tottenham, if we perform as we did versus tottenham (played more like a team and that quality began to show) we'll get something.
  10. if you read the documents, currently Goodison has one of the best dispersal rates and people have a multitude of options to get home, walk to the car, get the soccerbus/bus to lime street, walk to kirkdale/bank hall or a combination of these etc. Its a system that they've had working for years and it works. With a ground move that whole infrastructure is removed and replaced by one as good as the club claim, it is untested. by the time i'd be home from Goodison i may just be able to see the platform at kirkby according to that transport plan. Add to this if its raining or like the cold snap we're having currently, you cannot deny, that for fans its almost a punishment. which although a little sidetracked brings me to my point, that the 2nd image of aesthetics should be removed from the planning applications because it fails to bring functional value to the practicality of the stadium.
  11. see thats all well and good but that 2nd image is a non-match day, lets see when people are running to catch train/buses on that road
  12. theres one issue, heskey is an england striker everyone loves......who doesnt score.
  13. can we establish that if fellaini is good, he'll cost £15M currently his price is £4M only. the other 11M is installments and success fee's. its too easy to pick on Fellaini, the guy is trying his best, if you want scapegoats, Cahill and Arteta Havent performed this season. while both did well vs spurs, thats only one occasion they have turned up. be Patient, Those who remember last year and we were worried about the Yak being a flop...
  14. Could you Explain this point further, Because my understanding is, it referring to no personal stadium investment or as is written no investment at all. Because all those sob stories about BK selling all his stuff to bankroll everton, that would mean that they were lies surely?
  15. I agree totally, apart from arteta. just back from london, good atomsphere, especially funny the blokes behind us getting bollocked for looking into the executive lounge to see the man u score, they closed the blinds so they started banging on the perspexs. to my point, arteta had a good game playing the holding midfielder, expecially in the 2nd half so many interceptions and tidying up he did, at times it was Lee Carsley-esque however that was one match, so he'll be crap next week. ask anyone who was there he did good, finally bucking his ideas up conclusions. 1) we need new strikers... our current ones are broke 2) we can only play well with a 5 man attacking midfield, 3) Mikel Arteta can only play a in a 5 man midfield Fellaini had an epic (ok the best in a blue shirt to date) game, provided some comedy with his fouling, but he dominated Huddlestone and Zokora, Tottenham were poor they were hoofing it trying to get bent in behind us, and we were playing the football, Moment of the Match, Apart from phil neville skinning bale and lennon before running in the corner and promptly giving it away, Leon Osman first half, zokora blocked him off as he tried to reach gomes, not giving up leon tried again, zokora went to block him so he just ran into him full pelt and knocked him over..... pure comedy.
  16. since we lost to wigan, we'll probably get a result vs spurs, i'll be going too first away day, so i'm hoping we turn up.
  17. it is lucky we were patient and didnt go mental after the 1st round knockout of both cups. we're becoming a pain team, that is to say, we do nothing and then BAM! and the points are gone. However any pundit on BBC/Sky money will purr "that is the sign of a quality team" We need to hammer someone, it could have been newcastle, but we "let our foot off the pedal"
  18. if we are due to go for in for him again. then i say a january strike is necessary, as, he'll have the rest of the season where we dont expect much from him, but hopefully he show bits of talent, after which he gets a pre-season under his belt knows the squad inside out and we go on from this stronger. if we are interested in the summer, i bet man city will suddenly be interested. (they are the new newcastle.)
  19. i dunno, i think after bonfire night Christmas is fair game for decorations and ads,
  20. boro had a good result vs villa i'm happy about that because they are usually mightly inconsistent. 2-0 us, Dunno who dunno how, just a goal midway through each half and some ball played on the deck please.
  21. whats going on with the telegraph's stiff upper lip? seems were recruiting everyone from Katmandu to Timbuktu who can facilitate a sale.
  22. knew it was a goal as soon as it touched his head. Credit to the fulham Fan(s) "The intertoto... We won it one time!" Ahhh how we did chuckle for about 10 minutes when we heard him/Them Seriously though we played like pissheads
  23. Apparently the down payment for fellaini is £4m, can anyone confirm/disprove that claim? i read it on telegraph online in the man utd match report.
