  1. sounds like the bit i was in actually, which was kind of a neutral bit (around the halfway line) but mainly populated by chelsea fans (and to the right about 10 feet away was a similar block mainly populated by toffees) - stewards were coming over and swapping tickets with chelsea fans that had been allocated into the everton section and vice versa - me and my mate sat quietly and didn't make it too obvious (apart from when we scored!) that we were toffees, as we didn't actually see any of the people that got moved coming back!! to be fair it was fairly relaxed in that bit anyway, no sign of any trouble
  2. great day, great goal, great run in the cup.......disappointing the way we capitulated against a very good side. what said it all for me was the bench - Ballack on for Essien I think it was....for us it was Jacobsen, Gosling and Vaughan on.....different class we'll get there though, and the boys put in a good stint in a ridiculously hot stadium! be interesting to see if we can build on this next summer, cos as moyesey pointed out in his post match interview, semi last year, final this year, next year maybe cup winners?
  3. i think going back to jamie's point - it's the icing on the cake and we just have to enjoy our day, whatever happens HOPEFULLY it's not our last big day out for 14 years again, but just in case it is, lets all have the best bloomin day ever!! COYB!!!
  4. just stuck £3 on this @ 65/1 - if it comes in i'll be about the most elated blue around - AND THERE'LL BE A FEW OF US!

  6. finally arrived at half 12. :D - got them through a friend of a friend and we were starting to worry they wouldn't arrive......i can breathe at last!
  7. *if* my ticket arrives in time i'll be at the game (live in london anyway so i've got until tomorrow morning!) if not, i'll be at home watching the coverage from 9am on setanta....steadily making my way through shedloads of beer!
  8. so nervous.....and excited......but mostly nervous.
  9. also, saint and greavsie are gonna be on it!!
  10. i'd take him, but not for £6m as i've heard on here. as for victor - a year out on loan would probably do him good. could see him doing well for someone like Wigan/Blackburn

  14. Inspired by efctaxi's post in the game thread, stick all omens (good or bad) that you've heard here.... efctaxi's one On the five previous occasions Everton have won the FA Cup - in 1906, 1933, 1966, 1984 and 1995 - the West Indies cricket team have toured England. West Indies are due to play two Test matches in May . and the other I've heard is the Boro one. every team that's knocked out Boro in the last 4 years has gone on to be the runner up....
  15. that analysis failed to take into account TWO dreams I've had now. PLEASE AMEND!
  16. i think i've got a ticket now, but i won't know for sure until it's in my hand!! had two dreams about the final now.....both finished in a 1-0 win for us (cahill i think!)
  17. two of my mates are Spurs season ticket holders, they reckon Bent is the worst striker they've had in a long time. I also think he misses FAR too many sitters.
  18. bearing in mind our stupidly bad record vs Fulham, it's quite feasible they could catch us still - they're 6 behind at the moment, and still to play newcastle and villa who can't buy a win!!
  19. Neville or Baines for me. Was Fellaini until he was subbed though.
  20. i'm in pieces. can't stop shaking! COME ON YOU F***ING BLUES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GET IN!!!!!!!!!!!
  21. don't think i can take another 30 mins of this!!!
  22. slightly worried about Machedo (he seems to score every time he touches the ball!!) - but I've got faith the boys can do it today!!! Surprised he's gone with Saha, but if he's fit then he could cause United all kinds of problems, 'specially with the form their defence has been in!
