there's no right or wrong answer, all I'd add is I think Pienaar was quality for us and relatively consistent with it. Disappointed he's left, but I'm largely disappointed by modern football (mainly the financial/business side) so I'm not surprised by anything that happens these days!! (*ends old man rant*
i don't really think he is a £10m striker anymore, who would pay that? and ultimately if we don't want to sell (which Moyes has said he doesn't) we have to hold out for a good deal. Plus Spurs have already said they're looking to lighten their wage bill in this transfer window, so losing Pavlyuchenko would do that...
worryingly, Moyes seems to like Keane....would've taken this deal 3 years ago, but not now, Keane's past his best, does a lot of running around screaming and that's about it. If Neville & Pienaar both go, I'd want £5m plus a player - Pav would be great, maybe Walker/Naughton too?
dunno, but if this story is to be believed, it could amount to a mere £1.25m if so!! http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/rooney-could-quit-united-for-only-1635m-2110324.html
EDIT: my maths isn't so good today!
quite interesting http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,12040_6392909,00.html
not sure why but this quote slightly worries me... ""We set up this year to start the season very strongly and that was what I was expecting. So now I have to change things around very quickly."
lets just hope they don't have any thoughts over approaching Moyes!
my thoughts on this are mainly: -
1) it's really odd timing...
2) presumably he's not been given the future Milner, Young money....
3) if Liverpool had waited 4 weeks they'd've got the guy most fans wanted, for nothing
terrible first half....giving the ball away far too much, losing all the 50/50s....
hopefully a moyesey rollocking will stir things up at half time....wouldn't mind seeing the Yak at some point tonight, physically he should cause them a problem
BBC Sport's chief football writer Phil McNulty: "Everton are making no comment at all on reports that their proposed ground move to Kirkby has been rejected. A bitter blow for chairman Bill Kenwright if true though."
i bought a mahoosive hard drive to back everything up....just chuck it in the drawer and never use it for anything else!
i have a napster account now, so can download as much as i like (legally!) for £9.99 a month!
Greetings all - I always said I wouldn't do it, but I'm making the leap and selling off my cd collection bit by bit as I embrace the new digital world (that and I've got a wedding to pay for as I just got engaged!!)
Have a butchers, there's some bargains! sticking more on there tonight when i get in http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/shops/storefront/index.html?ie=UTF8&marketplaceID=A1F83G8C2ARO7P&sellerID=AVBAU7Z4J5CM4

everton sign heitinga for 6 mil who was described by f365 as
Everton target Johnny Heitinga was the Eredivisie's footballer of the year before moving to the Vicente Calderón from Ajax last summer. Now he plays like he's downed a bottle of pre-match Malibu and strapped on some roller skates.
