  1. I reckon we can get a result here, it's going to take a big effort but a win is on the cards. I will urge all the other Blues going to sing their bloody hearts out as they can lift the team. I went to the WHU game and spent the first half in the Bobby Moore stand, and apart from when they scored all I could hear were the Bluenoses - it was great!
  2. When he does hang his gloves up I hope they appoint him as the new 'keepers coach. No-one seems to have improved in any way under Woods (As good a keeper as he was) so a change can't hurt surely.
  3. From Bluekipper........................... 1. Richard Wright George Burley at Southampton is keen we are told to take Dickie back under his wing. George was the manager at Ipswich, when without doubt Dickie enjoyed the best spell of his career, forcing himself into the England reckoning. If the rumours are true, we don't believe Moyesy will be hanging out for a kings ransom for the Everton keeper. Southampton are in the market for an experienced keeper having lost Annti Niemi to Fulham, and as we know Dickie has been on his last chance saloon for many a season now. (04/04/06) Could see this happening, but only if he gets replaced.
  4. They asked me to email card details.
  5. Got mine by emailing the box office, explained that I lived and worked in the southeast, no problems, arrived next day.
  6. Thought about ESCLA, but I dont often get a free Saturday and the pick ups seem to be all in London so I don't think it's really worth it to me. I have to plan my games at Goodison well in advance and only manage 2 or 3 trips a year. Went to the Pompey game - in the Fratton End!! Meant I had to keep my emotions in check though!!
  7. Not originally from Guildford, moved to the area in '98, live just off Worplesdon Road in "spice city" if you know where that is!
  8. The Aresenal game was typical for me........................ ONE Evertonian (Gloating afterwards of course!!) and 30-40 Gooners. But it can be a bit of downer sometimes as the pre/post match banter is a bit one sided at times with only me dishing it out for the blues!!
  9. There are probably hundreds of Blues like me, who can't often get to Goodison and end up watching televised games in a pub, on their own, and often with loads of opposition support around them. Why not try and track down other Blues in the region on this and other Toffee websites and arrange to get together on these occasions? I have made contact with a few in my region of Surrey (Guildford, Woking and Dorking) and hopefully we are going to meet up for the next televised game. I am also hoping to get up to Goodison next month and hopefully a few of the others can arrange it as well to help out on the petrol costs! S o give it a try, it has to improve the atmosphere! If there are any other blues in this neck of Surrey then please give me a shout and we will try to organise a meet for everyone.
  10. Hello to all my fellow Blues out there. I am Ian and have been a blue for almost 40 years. I live in Surrey now so it's a bit awkward to get up to the old lady too often, so I rely a lot on sky and Blues websites to keep my finger on the pulse. Heres hoping for a BIG improvement in the coming months!!!
  11. NO! Not according to my (almost) son-in-law (A QPR fan , god forgive him!) As previously mentioned he is prone to the occasional cock-up which usually results in goals. He wasn't good enough for Charlton for god's sake!!!
  12. I won a complete strip from the ic liverpool sports pages at the start of the season, shirt with Tims' name and number and signed by the man himself ! Trouble was I already had a plain one that I ordered from the megastore (Happy birthday son!)
