I think Btay’s selection makes sense, as Gana has not looked solid the last 2 matches, and IF Onana will actually play DCM exclusively, staying back, letting the forward movement play through Iwobi and Garner. As to rotating Coleman out and the ? in Btay’s lineup, I favor using Doucouré there.

Yes, very disappointing. Last 2 matches, when Coleman goes out, Lampard moves Iwobi to RB. I think Doucouré played there once or twice last season, maybe 20-30 minutes each time. As plaidharper says, Iwobi is easily our best ACM. Sure, he can play RB or RWB for a bit, but his great value is lost. Put Doucouré there, in emergency, unless you think Coleman is an emergency from kickoff. I don’t, but he can’t play 90 minutes.

This makes sense to me, however dismaying. I’m already looking down, not up, the table, more interested in seeing whether 3 or 4 below us lose or take no more than a point in any match. Got more “pleasure” today from Leicester-Palace draw and Forest loss than from watching our reversion to flatness and incompetence.
