It's a strange league this year, as long as we keep within 6-9 points of the 4 coming into the last 10 games I wouldn't get overly stressed as the "lower" teams are clearly capable of picking up points and a run of say 3 wins jumps any team up the ladder considerably. Granted though, I would rather get in the 4 now and have others chase us. We've dropped our share of points, time for a good run of wins!

Will be interesting to see how our midfield shapes up, Osmans legs might not make the quick turn around, wouldn't risk McCarthy so soon, perhaps the game to drop Barkley deeper or give Baines a Lahm style run, no issue with Garbutt staying LB.

Everyone played well, put a good shift in. I'm giving it to Jags, was immense and that block was just a perfect example from our captain. Lukaku was strong as well. Exciting times

Lukaku's touch has gotten better. Howard pinged one at him first half and he took it down effortlessly, I think it's more a balance issue honestly, needs to shift his weight accordingly, set himself then take his touch.. McGeady for me has played the winger role for an away game perfectly, made a few key challenges, and lens he hasn't won has let his Opponents know he is around!!

Mate who is there said he did well. Let's get it right, he hasn't played in over a year. It's all about progression now. He is the type of player who will compliment our forward line.

I take no pleasure in saying that. I don't rate the lad and never have but would have really liked him to of gotten the chance to prove me wrong but I think his knee has done for him and that's a real shame.

I thought he looked a handful at Wigan, and as a squad striker we couldn't really ask for much more... I mean Lukaku-Eto-Kone is the best depth we've had for a long long time... Any player who gets injured playing for our club, especially to the degree of career ending should get our unwavering support regardless of their quality or time at the club.

Perhaps, but we got Lukaku ( same age, same potential ) we keep Barkley and stones and were making a real statement that if you're young and good, we will play and develop you.
