Sean Dyche is doing a decent job. The real issue is the same as it's been all season: We've had no proven striker. You can't expect to sell Richarlison and Gordon without bringing in effective replacements and hope to do well.
No striker and our ability to gift the opposition at least a goal a game.
I feel much more optimistic about our chances of scoring after Monday, but exactly the opposite about our chances of keeping a clean sheet.

It’s David Moyes guys, he has the tactical nous of a rhino. They have some decent players but I would expect Carlo “trophy cabinet” Ancelotti to be prepared.
Incredibly disrespectful and factually incorrect. I expect more from you.

Need a big reaction here. The Liverpool game is still lingering, and will be for a long time yet I think. A number of players - I mean, repeat offenders - showed a real lack of care in that game. And I hope that between Dunc and Carlo, they have said players sussed out.
The fans, club, staff, Moshiri...all need a big game from these players.
Couldn’t agree more. Very interested to see the line up and the way those players respond.

Talking of Gomes. He posted a video of him working out on an exercise bike.
That’s positive. Still a way of though unfortunately.

When there is still so many points to play for and the league is so tight, talking about relegation in October or November is nonsense
I don’t think Norwich fans would agree with you.

Looking at city v sheff united two up top is deffo the key.
Sid. Mina. Holgate. Bainescharly Gilfi. Davies Bernard
Kean. DCl
Good line up with what’s available. Looking at the CM makes me nervous though.

Should change his name to Mystic Mark and see how often he gets a line up correct

Fair enough mate. With the players we have available I suspect it will be something similar.

Gonna be a real tough match away at the Etihad and with a new manager who won't have had much time with the players. Honestly at this point nicking a draw would be an amazing result, i'm fully expecting a loss and to be honest i'm not gonna be pissed if it happens. they have players that are light years ahead of us, and a manager who's been there for years. COYB
The tactics will be interesting to me. You can't out possess Man City, so do you go direct, do you go 442 and try and stifle and counter, i will be interested to see what Carlo does.
Pickford
Coleman Holgate Mina Digne
Sidibe Davies Delph Bernard
Richarlison DCL
Are you picking the team you’d like or the team you think will be play?

Regardless of how they were won it’s another 3 points. Confidence will increase and we will start playing better football as a result.

Keane is a confidence player. Once Ancelotti reorganizes the defense, Keane will improve as his confidence grows.
That’s true Steve but nevertheless he will always be to slow.

Any updates on his return?

Kean isn't going to come good over night, DCL and Richy has worked fine up top since the mini revival and should be kept that way.
No doubt we are short on the wings, but pace out wide isn't a necessity against Burnley.
Kean definitely won’t come good if he doesn’t play though.

Arteta would be swapping an assistant role at Man City for an assistant role at Everton. He isn't going to take a backwards step. It's just the wrong call for Arteta. He would be best off following in the footsteps of Lampard going down a division and taking a mid ranked team to promotion contention.
Cahill is further behind in his career so would more likely take the assistant position.
I only said I wouldn’t mind it. I didn’t suggest it would be palatable for Arteta or Moyes.

This won’t happen on the basis of us being in the bottom three and both being unproven as managers. A fairy tail story but would be a bold move.
Moyes with Arteta/Cahill as number two would be more likely.
I actually wouldn’t mind that. Moyes to stabilise things with an eye to the future with either Arteta or Cahill.

Time to recall Mo Besic. Would add some bite. Vlasic had grit too but our shit manager opted for Sigurdssen to chase shadows instead.
Is that even an option? Your attributing things to Silva that in all likelihood he had no control of.

Bernard does have the pace and skill to go past a player, was it that he was a little conscious of his fitness with having a bad injury that has made him check back rather than open up for a sprint?
Absolutely his speed of thought means more often than not he’s ahead of the opposing player. He’s a starter every time for me.

If you think being a poorer team is a decent deal then fine, but you're talking finance rather than football and I'm more interested in the second option.
We might not be a poorer team, given we’ve seen so little of his replacement we don’t really know.

Bernie could be back for this game. Think Cenk got a niggle in midweek so may not be risked.
Pickford
sidibe. Mina. Holgate Digne
Davies. Gilfi
walcott. Iwobi. Bernie
Charly
Personally I wouldn’t rush Bernard. Quite happy to see the rest of the line up though, maybe with Richarlison wide and DCL up top if a Tosun isn’t fit.
