  1. Well I'd be totally fine with a 1-0 as long as we win the matches we dominate. Wish you all the best against Lille the next two matches. Think you'll make it to the knockout stage anyways so it's good for us if Lille gets as few points as possible. We have to do our job against Krasnodar now and if we get at least 4 points in the next two matches everything is good.
  2. Yes it is the same in the league. It started in spring and it goes on. In April there were two similar matches against Dortmund (cup and league) when we missed 3-5 of the biggest chances possible. Today it was the worst. But maybe you saw the Malanda chances against Munich and Frankfurt from the beginning of this season. They both show it perfectly what happens so often. I don't know if were just unlucky. When you're free in front of the goalkeeper in the box then you have to score. When you have 10 big chances to score and you only score once it's your own fault in my opinion. By the way Enyeama was world-class today. Like Howard against us at Goodison Park. Luckily Eto'o scored so Krasnodar is close to us and we can ovetake them in the next two matches.
  3. I'm back home from the Wolfsburg stadium. Here a short summary: The second half was one of the strangest halfs I've ever seen. You won't believe it if you haven't seen it. Wolfsburg must have score at least 6-7 goals in this match. In the second half we got 4 or 5 "100%ige" how we call it in Germany. It means that you can't miss it. But we missed all of them. I can't believe it! Furthermore we got at least 5 more big chances. Probably more. I guess Everton would have scored 5-6 goals against Lille today. In the first half we were better but not very good. But we also missed 3 big chances then. The second half was like the Brazil vs. Germany world cup-match but without efficiency. We played great, many times better than against Everton. But after we missed at least 4 big chances in 15 minutes, Lille got a penalty out of nowhere. Fortunately de Bruyne scored a beautiful 20m-volley after a corner for the draw. If they show a short summary of the match in english TV - watch it. I can't explain it good enough.

Can't wait to travel to Liverpool this week ! After more than four years we're finally back in the Europa League. I hope that it's going to be an interesting match at Goodison Park. Three points are definitely possible but it's not that I'm sure we're gonna win there. You got Lukaku, Eto'o, Naismith and Mirallas - wow! Unfortunately we didn't have a good start in the season. We could easily have seven points after three games but we only got two. We miss so many big chances - it's unbelievable! Good to know that Everton is a great team because in Germany we always make good games when the opponent is strong (Dortmund, Leverkusen, Schalke, Mönchengladbach...). It's hard for us to create chances when the other team plays very defensively. Many of our players are injured. Perisic, Träsch, Felipe Lopes, Ochs and Seguin. Furthermore it's not sure if Luiz Gustavo and Kevin de Bruyne can play. If they can play, the lineup will probably look like this: _________________Benaglio___________________________ _Jung____Naldo____________Knoche____Rodríguez_____ ____________Gustavo__Malanda_(Guilavogui)___________ __Vieirinha_(Caligiuri)__________________de Bruyne_____ __________________Arnold____________________________ ___________________Olic_____________________________ This is a good mix of young and experienced players. Arnold (20), Malanda (20), Knoche (22), Rodriguez (22, future world-class player!), de Bruyne (23) and Jung (24) are young but talented. Gustavo (27), Benaglio (31), Naldo (32) and Olic (35) are much older but lead the younger players. By the way: Any suggestions what to do in Liverpool when you have some free time?
  5. Thank you ! I also appreciate the opportunity to discuss football with fans from other countries. We qualified for the first time since 2009 when we were German Champion. Playing international matches is always a big deal for our club.
  6. Hello from Wolfsburg. Great to have you in our group! This is probably the most interesting group this year. I think Lille, Wolfsburg and Everton are approximately on the same level. I'm not sure about Krasnodar. I've never seen them but they won 3-0 against San Sebastian which is impressive. Of course it's going to be tough to make it in the 1/16-final but I rather take a strong group than a boring one. I know that many Wolfsburg supporters wanted to play against Everton (or Tottenham). I talked to a few friends and most of them plan to travel to Liverpool on September 18th. So I think there will be about 2,000 Wolfsburg supporters at Goodison Park which is pretty much when you keep in mind that Wolfsburg only has 120,000 inhabitants. I will also be there and I'm very happy because your stadium is one of my favorite ones. I really like these old, traditional english stadiums build in the city centre. Our team really improved since we got our new manager Klaus Allofs and the coach Dieter Hecking in 2012 (manager and coach is not the same in german clubs). We now have a young and very talented team with players like Rodriguez, de Bruyne, Malanda, Arnold, Knoche, Guilavogui and Jung who are all younger than 25. We also have experienced players such as Luiz Gustavo, Olic, Benaglio, Naldo and Perisic. Unfortunately you bought our transfer target Lukaku. We were looking for a top striker but it wasn't possible for us to pay that much although we are one of the richest german teams. I think it is going to be interesting with Nicklas Bendtner now. He is a talented player. Hopefully Wolfsburg is the right place for him. Are some of you planning to follow Everton to Wolfsburg ? If you have any questions concerning the club, Wolfsburg, the nearest airport etc. I'm happy to help you. Our stadium is nearly 12 years old. It is located about 15-20 minutes by foot from the city centre and the main train station. In Bundesliga there is enough space for 30,000 spectators. Unfortunately you are not allowed to stand in international matches. So in the Europa League there will be only 26,000 people allowed. Best wishes WolfsburgFan
