  1. We all know that RM and his silly stubborn ways and tactics sucks moosecock at this point., Its a fuckin joke. But then we also look at the players, and realistically place some of the blame on their shoulders. But when I look at the dreadful shite defence we had against Kiev, I'm not fully convinced it is the players fault(s). Its beginning to look to me like he is not adept to training the players correctly, and the result is, well, 5-2. I am a classical musician, so I look at it this way: I have seen the same world-class orchestras perform the same pieces with (virtually) the same players. The difference the conductor makes is beyond what I could try and explain here - it would take pages. The change at the top makes all of the difference in the world in a symphony orchestra, so why is football any different? If the same orchestra kept on making shitty recordings, well folks would stop buying the albums/CD's and stop going to see the live performances. Enter new conductor, and all of this has the potential to change. A superb conductor can make even an average level orchestra sound great, whereas a poor conductor will make an high level orchestra sound mediocre to shitty. Want proof: Sir Simon Rattle has arguably one of the best orchestras at his disposal (Berliner Philharmoniker), and they have produced many shite recordings. Not the players fault. The Minnesota Orchestra under the direction of Eiji Oue made a (once) mediocre orchestra sound world-class, one of the best during their heyday. It can be done with the right captain steering the ship. We need a new conductor.
  2. Egg-zactly! He just fuckin' stops dead in his tracks and looks like he just saw a ghost, or his granny topless with chocolate edible panties on. My 8-year old doesn't pull this bullshit when he misses a shot. Was he really 25m, and this little extra gimmick cost us an extra 3m as a bonus?
  3. FINALLY! Better performance today all around. Lennon, McCarthy, Kone (except his pig-headed selfish move which should have been another goal), Big Rom, Baines. No Barry, too. That's always a plus. Still some shaky shit going on playing against 10 men but the three points is all that matters right now. Confidence much needed - very glad to see Ross get the goal at the end. Good save from Howard too. COYB!!!!!
  4. From this article: Martinez has rejected criticism that his side's possession-heavy style of play is too slow to break down opposing teams. Asked if his team were guilty of over-passing, he said: "Never. I don't think you can. You can never over-pass. Passing for the sake of it is not going to take you anywhere. There's a reason behind every pass." This bloke is smoking meth. You guys have meth in Jolly olde England? Its like Coors Light here.
  5. Does anybody have an idea of when they announce the 15-16 season fixtures? We are planning a UK trip in August and trying to see a match (preferably at Goodison - yes we are glutton for punishment - we just love the championship ), but trying to plan around an unknown match is virtually impossible. We might just have to suck it up and see a Saturday match in London - plenty of choices there.
  6. Yeah, pretty much. Unfortunately that little trick didn't work for TH.
  7. Can't assume that Villa and Sunderland are wins. Actually with our current form, those could easily be ship sinkers, in which case were fucked.
  8. Hey look at the bright side - they're still multi-millionaires!
  9. This guy just refuses to address the true problem at hand in every interview and article. What significance does playing an important game with Swansea have to do with a machine that is not functioning properly? As for not being relegated, I wouldn't bet my house on it. Did you see Aston Villa play today? They were hungry and had pride in their accomplishment today against WBA. Don't count them out and don't count any of them out. The relegation fight is going to be as nasty or nastier than the teams at the top. We aren't hungry enough to show that we are ready to spill our blood and guts to avoid relegation. We are generally bland, slow, have little attacking intent, and a goalkeeper whose skills are becoming questionable. That's not even mentioning our style which is arguably not working. We have been saying this the whole season - Everton just needs a few results and the light switch will go on - well here we are still waiting. I am waiting to be proved wrong and also ready to eat crow - go ahead and show me Everton FC. Where are these promises you speak of Mr Martinez?
  10. The Arsenal Invincibles one was great too

  13. Wow, I guess we watched different matches today. Please tell me where the fire and passion was? Its been the same story all season - losing and then just being complacent with the fact. Even the NBCSN commentators were saying the same thing - paraphrasing - "They were OK to lose today". I couldn't agree more. Sloppy, uninspired performance from my angle. Not good enough for a team of this caliber. This is now 100% Martinez' baby - not colored by Moyes at this point - he has bred and nurtured this team with his own hands - the responsibility falls on his own shoulders. Any good manager would agree with that. As much as I despise Mourinho, I would bet LARGE sums of money that this crew would start winning games, or at least give 100% the entire match if he was steering the ship. Obviously the coaching staff is not good enough, or we wouldn't have 28 points, 6 wins, 10 draws, and 11 losses. This machine is malfunctioning.
  14. If RM enjoys watching the lads passing a bunch and then giving the ball away, then he has it very very right and is a genius in that respect. Otherwise, I think its clear as day this guy has it wrong. 28 points is the proof.
  15. I thought the lads were amazing today. Oh wait.....sorry I meant to say dogshit. Is there a "Sack Martinez" campaign yet?
  16. Arsenal 3 - 1 Everton Bainesy. Hey, its a league match, you can't expect us to win can you?
  17. The '13-'14 EFC played against Young Boys the other day, kicked some arse, and gave us hope. The '14-'15 EFC played against Leicester today and were back to the status quo, which means too much meandering bullshit, terrible goalkeeping, and sloppy/non-existent finishes. Worrying, frustrated, sad, anger, dismay, and utter disbelief pretty much covers it for me at the moment.
