  1. Well, ignoring the massive elephant in the room I think we’ve actually done well. Mucked it up just enough, and got a couple near chances.
  2. Ashley Young that is absolutely horrible. How does he continue to be in the lineup. He gets an early yellow time and time again and here we are.
  3. The intensity is there for us but our touch and passing couldn’t be much worse
  4. Deja Vu all over again. Every thread.
  5. Onana for me but there are 5 or 6 players that I wouldn’t fault anyone for picking. I just think that ganas role is so important to maintain structure in our midfield, and when he comes off we frequently struggle to gain and maintain possession. Onana put on a masterclass in that regard today, and also showed real danger moving forward.
  6. Very very good win. We’ve deserved more this year but I haven’t seen us really dominate a match like we did today. Could very easily have had more. Onana motm for me, but nearly everyone played very well. Harrison needs to be permanent. He’s a real player.
  7. This is a match we should be outplaying, but nonetheless great to see us truly controlling the match for almost the entire half. Great showing so far.
  8. Things are never as good or as bad as they seem. At home again after a rough performance in which we should've done much better, I feel confident that we're going to get a result here, so naturally we won't. Everton 2 - Bournemouth 1 Onana
  9. If garner can consistently play that well in the middle of the field, we actually have lots of flexibility to run different formations if the opposition calls for it. Options in the middle, wide, and two first team quality attackers with another capable sub. This season will still be wildly inconsistent but this is the first time I’ve been remotely excited about our squad in a while.
  10. His decision making is absolutely frustrating at times but I feel that we're consistently more dangerous with him on the ball than I felt with Gray. No idea if that's actually true or not mind you, just the feeling I get when he's attacking vs Gray.
  11. In my opinion he is our best player full stop when he's playing well. Some inconsistency isn't surprising at his age, but gaining that consistency is what will take him to a truly elite level
  12. Legitimately forgot what it feels like to have options. We're so thin that nearly any injury can be a real problem but this is the first time in a while that I actually like our squad when fully fit. Dyche is going to have a choice to make in CM every week.
  13. I've been saying that Gana is underrated for us, but after seeing Garner and Onana paired in the center of the field I'm not so sure... They look very complementary today.
  14. Onana having quite a match. When he's playing well he adds so much.
  15. Finally got a result that underlying numbers have said we should’ve earned much earlier this season. I still just can’t comprehend why anyone would be falling to sack Dyche. Not saying I love him but, again, these projects take time, and we haven’t given a single manager enough time to evaluate them since probably Martínez which was 7 damn years ago. Total lunacy.
  16. Was incredibly encouraged by our purpose this match. Our passing still in inconsistent and we were again prone to mistakes. But our midfield looked to play decisive balls, Beto plays a great hold up man, and we were dangerous throughout. weve deserved more this far this season and it’s great to see the squad pick up some much needed points against a strong side on the road. Lastly, shout out to garner on his ball for the third. His creativity has frequently seemed better in theory than in practice to me but he picked that out perfectly.
  17. Just can’t let it affect our mentality. We were being direct and dangerous. Gotta keep at it
  18. Why do we always go short towards the middle of the field on those free kicks? Completely ruins our angle and makes the ball in less dangerous. We’ve done it all year.
  19. Beto is certainly a handful but my lord does he make some questionable decisions with the ball at his feet
  20. Ashley young still doing his thing out there. Hammering balls in the box 15 yards too long
  21. Once Harrison is back we’ll have a solid wing rotation but without him it’s thin. Does danjuma not play well on the right?
