  1. I don’t think anyone would argue with the 2 changes for me they were the weakest against Norwich.
  2. They wouldn’t be buying him out he’s not a shareholder, he’s a non profits non voting director. They would just vote him off the board.
  3. Richarlison not his find, Richarlison signed because of Silva.
  4. The Bowie set Glastonbury 2000, what a legend
  5. Great sentiment from Carlo, but will that change if he doesn’t get the funds he needs to make the changes that are required, and could the pulling power of Everton put off the players he is used to dealing with, the allure of working with him may not be enough for most. The summer transfer window for me is going to be one of the most important in the last 4 years, we’ve let mediocre managers spend millions on mediocre players, we are the 3rd biggest spenders in the last 4 years, and for all that money we have 2 possibly 3 players who might get into the top 7 as it stands now. Carlo has now been left with very little money with an expectation to buy top class players, unless FP rules change I can see hard times a head, and I’m not so sure he will be able to stand the disappointment of not being able to progress because he can’t attract what he knows he needs, but let’s see the next season will tell, it’s a massive one for him and us.
  6. I'd have a good long look at Aarons, Cantwell, Buendia and Hernandez. Buendia looked good on the eye, but when he got round the box his final pass wasn’t good and his shooting was poor. Hernandez looked physically strong and full of running but lacked the ability to make anything of it. Lewis, Cantwell and Aarons standout players for Norwich, and I agree with pundits Lewis was excellent.
  7. Gutted for Norwich worked so hard, and got robbed by Harry Dire.
  8. There left back is quality he’s a massive threat going forward something we lack from Digne, I like Cantwell he’s doing what £45millon Gylfi was meant to be able to do but can’t. I can see Norwich being raided the end of this season.
  9. Norwich giving Utd some big problems, but for poor finishing and last ditch blocks they should be 1 or 2 up by now. If anyone’s watching this should make you feel better about our performance against them.
  10. That would be nice, but there is something to be said for the comment that if he is a first choice MF next season we are going to struggle to get to where we want to be?
  11. No it’s not. They remind me of Wimbledon aggression work hard and the long ball, having said that they just scored keep the ball on the ground, but even Wimbledon done that occasionally
  12. If you go back to when he first came here, he was tasked with getting rid of all the players that were on big wages, and cutting the wage bill, that was is main task, we still have the biggest earners that don’t play on the books and the wage bill has spiralled, so based on that a failure.
  13. They usually end up leaving so that should make you happy
  14. According to Fox his stats are one the best this season for a MF in our squad better than Delph, Gylfi, Iwobi, Gomes and Schneiderlin, the only one in front of him is Bernard. Now that surprised me completely, now they maybe wrong or I’ve misinterpreted them completely, but if right wow and wow again. I think I’ll put that down to stats are bollocks, Gana’s were good and he was shit so same here possibly
  15. Your right he isn’t a master of any of those traits you mentioned, and he wouldn’t be on my team sheet as a starter on regular basis, but normally is all round game gets him through when required, but against Norwich I think that could go down as one of the worst performances I’ve seen of any player in an Everton shirt, which for me was not representative of a majority of his games, which makes me think he suffered from the weather conditions, because if that was representative of all his games for us then sack Carlo today, because no manager deserves to be in a job if they pick a player who plays like that every game.
  16. Are you not prepared to consider that a lot of what you said could have been caused by the heat getting to him, I’m going to assume that you never felt that way as much after the Liverpool game only because you never said so at the time. The reason I say this is because some people who are fit can’t deal with sun and high temperatures that’s just a fact. I had Carpenters between the ages of 40-60 working on roofs Wednesday who all come to work Thursday, I had 2 younger and they look fitter cry off Thursday suffering from heat exhaustion. I accept he was the worst I’ve ever seen him in any game, but I’m going to give him the benefit of the doubt that the conditions got to him, because I’ve never witnessed him play like he’d never seen a football before. Just trying to put some understanding of what went wrong
  17. They make for some very poor figures on the playing side, obviously not all his fault, the wage bill going out control because we can’t off load shite on big wages, but he had to buy or see us relegated. The agents fees have gone up by millions in the last two years, I feel he should have more control on that it’s a massive amount of dead money we won’t see again.
  18. And he can read the game, he also as the fitness levels required to get up and down the line. Unfortunately you’re saying this and people are agreeing, because we haven’t seen anything better of late, which is a sad indictment of our poor spending over the last 4 years.
