  1. Very true. I don’t give players shit for what they do in their personal life’s, but I give them plenty when they aren’t playing well.
  2. I personally don’t stand in judgement because I have done a lot worse, even when older and so say wiser than him, so that would make me hypocrite and that wouldn’t sit well with me. He has a multitude of support a round him to give him a good advice when needed and also to reprimand him when required. But he is No1 for us No1 for England and made a worldie on top of a couple of good saves the other day, so he’s doing something right.
  3. Haf that’s his choice to be fair as it was yours, you have to let people live their lives and make their own decisions and mistakes, none of us on here should be standing in judgement on a young lad out with his mates getting pissed up and having fun, if that is a problem for Everton or England they will deal with it, but as we have as yet not heard any rumblings we can only assume there is no issue.
  4. Wind baffles are shields that prevent the waste from extractor units being blown back down and stopping further waste air escaping. So in essence they help extraction units to work to their full potential by aiding the air to escape from the unit. But please don’t take my word for it, but we fitted them on a hotel roof to aid the kitchen extractors, and the terminology used for what we fitted was wind baffles, but there could be loads of things called wind baffles.
  5. You can’t it makes you sound like Hyacinth Bucket
  6. Try to get a ticket in the away end, how much shit will you get is an unknown quantity to be honest, if your sat in the Watford end and there winning not a lot I wouldn’t have thought, but if there losing and your whooping like a yank at the Ryder cup you are possibly going to get slaughtered, but you’re going to enjoy it Everton’s away support is off the scale, and we are widely recognised as one of the better team of supporters on the road, but stub hub would be the way to go, unless one of the season ticket holders on here can sort you out.
  7. Working on that basis most of us are tits, and some bigger than others We nearly all go out once a week or fortnight and have a laugh, he goes out once in a blue moon and enjoys himself and gets slated. As far as I’m aware there’s been no condemnation from the club his country or his managers, probably because there’s nothing to moan about, a young man having fun with a load of people also out to have some fun. How shocking I mustn’t forget to complain to the stop people enjoying themselves Police
  8. I think Keane will get a reprieve and start against Burnley, because it’s more important that Holgate goes into the MF in place of Delph or Gylfi.
  9. Hopefully that’s the end of the matter, even Ancelotti knows he’s past his sell by date for the PL.
  10. I didn’t say we weren’t in a false position, with a better manager and players than actually give a shit we should be in a better position, but every supporter for every team could say that. But the games we’ve lost and the position we are in the league Paul are factual for what ever reason it’s happened, but to expect Ancelotti to pick this lot up and have us fighting for 4th spot next season is a massive ask, now I’d love that to happen as much as the next fan, and if it did what a bonus, but I’m not expecting it so hopefully I won’t be disappointed. But he did say not as a player.
  11. Go back to the end of last season exactly the same things were said then by a multitude of people, it’s pie in the sky to expect him to get us challenging for a top 4 place next season, he’s got to much to change next season to expect that. I do understand the feel good factor when a new manager comes in especially a big one like Ancelotti, but I think we need to tinge it with a bit of reality and not expect to much, or we just set ourselves up for disappointment 7th or 8th playing good football with new signings that actually do what we bought them to do, will be more than enough for me in season one.
  12. I understand were your coming from, and I often wonder what constitutes a sport and what doesn’t, and darts is definitely one of them a long with Pool and Snooker, they could easily come under entertainment. But what I would say is at darts you would have a great experience.
  13. He’s not going to get beaten up at the darts, I’ve been a couple of times and never once seen any trouble very much the opposite it’s a great party atmosphere. And he’s been swept away by the atmosphere and having some fun no harm done, some need to try it sometime I highly recommend it.
  14. Maybe not but we still didn’t lose either of those games in play time, so does that mean he had the tactics right. Look at Mourinho how much more tactical do you want to get than him, but as soon as the players at Chelsea and Utd stopped running for him he was gone, tactics didn’t do him any good the same as Martinez Koeman and Silva who couldn’t get the players to fight for them.
  15. I wonder if those who fell for his fake acting last time fell for it this time.
  16. Haven’t we had enough of managers who believe they are close to greatness with their superior tactics yet can’t get players to run through walls, you need an equal amount of both, but if as a manager you are lacking in either, you wouldn’t want it to be players not prepared to run through walls for you. So give me Ferguson over any of the tactical pricks we had in the last 4 years.
  17. We are try to buy him from Barcelona a defender, and Ancelotti has highlighted his need for a CD, and apparently Man Utd are chasing him as well.
  18. Pickford Sidibe Keane Mina Baines Davies Holgate Gylfi Bernard Richarlison DCL But this is Ancelotti’s first game so he might completely surprise us all, and do something completely different, like put 1 or 2 of the youngsters in or even start Kean, he’s going to be looking at it with fresh eyes and no axe to grind, so it would be good to see a different direction
  19. He’s come here to make a difference and that doesn’t include trying to make a silk purse out of a Sows ear, so I think we can expect big changes sooner rather than later. He will be on good terms with a lot of agents, and respected by the better players as a manager they could work for, this is the best opportunity we’ve had to move forward since Moshiri took over, if this doesn’t work out it doesn’t bare thinking about.
  20. Well let’s wait and see, but personally I can see a lot of money being spent in the next 5 months, and it won’t be on mediocre players with Ancelotti being expected to turn them into decent players, he will be buying decent players who can come in and deliver what he wants straight away, I don’t think he’s come here just for the challenge he’s come here after been given promises in the lead up to accepting the job.
  21. Well the team he joined now aren’t really pushing the boat out, and to say you’d worry about players coming for the money, you must have a lot of sleepless nights because there agents make sure it’s about the money. If we can’t attract better players then what’s the point of paying Ancelotti between 9-11 million a year to fail with what we’ve got.
