  2. Come on, it's going to go through for sure so it makes no difference that it isn't actually oofficial yet. I meant because his name would be armpit to armpit, nothing to do with the price mate.
  3. We have a winger, a real winger (maybe!), I can't believe it! Hopefully this is the first of a few signings in the next few days. Put this fella on the left, switch Pienaar to the right and put Osman CM til Arteta is back. Happy days. I am slightly pissed off though. I've been waiting til we signed a new player to get the home shirt so I could get them on the back but there's no way I'm getting this lads name on it . As has been said, though, it's proven we didn't have a penny to spend without first selling Lescott .
  4. They must be gutted after they let him go. I'd prefer Taylor out of the young CB's we've been linked with but he'd be a good consolation prize.
  5. Disappointing, unless we sign another CB as well as him.
  6. No new players could play in this game anyway. I hope he plays the strongest side he possibly can tbh because if we don't I'm going to be shitting myself for 90 minutes.

  9. He lost 9lb but had put 7lb back on before out last game, so he doesn't really have any excuses left.
  10. It certainly is good news, now all we need is to bring some players in to feed him.
  11. We already have defenders who just hoof aimlessly, let's not replace our only CB who can pass it out from the back with this fella.
  12. Moyes proving a point hasn't exactly helped us so far.

  15. With his no time comments Moyes is just preparing us for no replacement coming in and "we'll go with what we've got", meanwhile the money has disappeared come January.
  16. Moyes said he'd be coming over in a few days so we should hear something today. Then again, it's a Moyes few days so it'll probably be February <_< .
  17. WTF is with people saying calm down we always start badly? A bad start cost us a Champions League place last season, is that fucking acceptable? Will it be acceptable to you if a bad start this season costs us a Europa League place?
  18. You're right, but I have no faith that Everton will replace him and it'll be Pip in defence at least until January.
  19. A transfer window like last summer gets you Fellaini, i.e. we overpay for someone at the last minute, so forgive me if patience doesn't seem like the best option right now. Off the pitch the club is shambles and now it's impacting on the field because we're not investing in the team. So players, all of them infact, know they're place is safe no matter how they play (just the same as last season) and they don't look bothered when we lose. Is this because when they signed new long-term deals they were signed on the promise of investment in the first-team? Whatever the cause it has to be sorted out in the next week or so when we haven't done it for the past few months. The new "problem" and cause of this is Lescott wanting to leave where last summer it was apparently Moyes' contract, but other than that nothing is different. Moyes can complain all he wants that now he has a limited time to find a replacement for Lescott and that City are to be blame, but come on, he knew Lescott was going to go so he should have been looking for a replacement weeks ago as a contingency. I like Moyes but he's got to take some responsibility for the mess we find ourselves in now.

  22. It is a stupid fee but it's not going to help us because we won't have much of it to spend. Tbh Moyes has come out of this looking like a right dick head. He stated over and over that Lescott would not be leaving but that was obviously a load of bullshit, he was just playing a game (something he criticised Hughes for). But Moyes' game has backfired because it's fucked us up on the pitch and now we barely have any time to spend whatever amount he's given.
  23. 16.51 Everton target Rasmus Elm has confirmed he has made a decision over his future, but will not reveal which club he has elected to join. The Sweden international is expected to sign for Dutch champions AZ Alkmaar.
