  1. It's not his personal problems that are the reason I think this deal is unlikely. I just don't see us spending £7million (staggered or not) on a player that won't come straight into the first team when we're crying poverty.
  2. There will be 5 officials for the Europa League
  3. Until he gets match fit he's a bit of a headless chicken though. Hopefully he'll get a good pre-season under his belt (fingers crossed) and show his quality. I've been saying we need pace in our side for a long time, and hopefully that will coincide with us rebuilding our right side because Osman and Hibbert aren't good enough.
  4. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11671_5357952,00.html It's all good and well being attractive to the top players, and I believe we are, but when you don't have the money to actually buy those interested players then it's a little heartbreaking and pointless.

  6. Was anyone in the Blarney Stone?
  7. http://www.clubcall.com/everton/rivals-eye...eal-907574.html And City linked with Arteta again.
  8. I'm not Howard's biggest fan tbh; I don't think he's that good a goalkeeper at all.
  9. I'm with Mike, I can't see it happening.
  10. We need pace in our midfield. No thanks.
  11. Believe? The fans may have believed but most of our side didn't have any belief they win it. It's not that we lost that I can't take, it's the way our players simply rolled over and died. That's not something I or any of us are used to with this side, especially when it's from the likes of Cahill. There was no fighting spirit and no skill; our game plan must have simply been to punt the ball up at every opportunity. That's not a bad way to go when it works, but when you've got Lescott and Yobo hoofing the ball where there are no players you have a big problem. For me, the only players that turned up yesterday were Pienaar, Baines and Fellaini. The rest of them just did not look up for it at all. Baines and Pienaar showed good team work as always and looked like the only ones who might just create something. Fellaini bossed our midfield for large chunks of the game by breaking up play and showing great composure on the ball, which is exactly what we were crying out for more of our players to do. The one good thing I hope came out of yesterdays game is that maybe Moyes has opened his eyes to the fact that Hibbert is fucking shite, a donkey, and makes Jacobsen or a new player our RB. He was unbelievably awful. Playing Premiership football for the team he supports really is a dream for Hibbert because he plays like he's in a dream world. The thing that pissed me off most about him is that he'd lose the ball and then not bust a gut to rectify it, but jogged back at half pace. You can throw Osman into the mix as a donkey yesterday too. Whoever said we should have benched him for this game because he played well against Fulham was right. I'm angry as fuck about these two players . At the end of the day the best side won.
  12. I jsut don't want to get my hopes like I did last summer. I really thought we'd push on and we royally fucked up that opportunity, I don't expect it to be any different this summer.
  13. In reality though, this could be as good as it gets with it not looking like we can actually do much this summer in terms of the squad.
  14. http://www.evertonfc.com/news/archive/cahi...d-thoughts.html After every interview he gives I like him more.
