  1. WBA are usually good at getting good prices for their players tbh, so I reckon you'd be looking at around £5million-6million for him Bill. I do like him though.
  2. How could we sign him for nothing? He hasn't even been there 2 years has he?
  3. He'll be back Aaron, I don't think there's any doubt about that.
  4. I can't see us spending the best part of £10million on two players for the same position, it'll be one or the other me thinks.
  5. Don't get me wrong, I think we should sign him up for another year but I thought he was a let down yesterday. It was a Hibbertesque performance tbh; constantly passing backwards and not putting the ball into the box.
  6. Tbh if it was a choice between Hunt or Ledley at around the same price then I'd sign Ledley. He's younger which means he's got time to improve, and he's probably just as good as Hunt now.
  7. http://www.evertonfc.com/news/archive/fell...nsung-hero.html It's nice to get some appreciation for our players.
  8. That is exactly what I'd expect from their fans tbh.
  9. I don't like United but it means the shite didn't win it so it's all good

    West Ham

I thought we started the first half well, then we faded badly, and then finished the first half strongly. The second half was completely different - we were strong and dominant. We played some really good football at times, sometimes overplaying it but I can forgive that . It was a bit worrying that at times our defense looked all over the place; most notably Lescott tbh. I was a little annoyed that Osman got 90 minutes and Fellaini was taken off when he had been our best player up until that point. 3 points and mostly an excellent performance from the lads and we're into fifth, hopefully we can keep the title of being the best of the rest by finally ending our Craven Cottage hoodoo! Howard - Didn't have much to do. Jacobsen - Had plenty of the ball and did fuck all with it. I was disappointed. Yobo - Nice to see him get a goal. He had mostly a good game, but his lapse of concentration could have cost us badly. Fortunately it didn't. Lescott - Not his best game IMO. He looked quite nervous today for me and him and Yobo were too far apart at times, meaning our defence simply melted away at times. Baines - Did everything spot on apart from his final delivery, it was shockingly bad for the most part. Osman - This boy has one pace; snail pace. The game just passed him today, he was terrible. Neville - Excellent performance. I thought he was brilliant today; ALWAYS available for the ball, mopping up the West Ham attacks, and he's such a calming influence on our midfield when we're under the cosh. Cahill - He's not as effective attacking wise but, for me, he's showing that he CAN play as a proper midfielder. I thought he had a decent game today and should have scored that header. Pienaar - He has stepped up perfectly in Arteta's absence. He was fucking brilliant today. He ran at West Ham time and time again, was always looking for the ball, won us countless free-kicks, and the turn for our third goal was actually beautiful. My MOTM. Fellaini - I thought he had a very good game today. He held the ball up well (as usual), his passing looked crisp, he stopped a few West Ham, and he ran at West Ham quite a few times which is something I haven't really seen him do. Also, when we were looking a bit lethargic in the first-half he was pretty much the only one who looked interested in the game. Saha - He had a good game. He dropped deep and brought others into the game very well. Nice to see him on the scoresheet twice as well. Sometimes he was far too greedy with the ball and turned into trouble though.
  11. I got a ticket . I'm not sure on my seat number etc yet but I know I'm about 3 rows back by the corner flag.
  12. Pienaar got my vote. It was going to be Fellaini until he went off and Pienaar did that amazing turn in the build up to our third.
  13. He was disappointing today. He had plenty of the ball and I can't really remember him doing anything of note with it.
  14. It's sad, sad news for him but it helps us so I'm half glad. Villa will need to spend big on a defender to replace him and they probably won't find anyone as good.

  16. Terry actually comes across as quite patronising IMO - "They've beaten some good teams" - we've beat the best when you've had a cushy run to the final. Prick.
