  1. No matter what, when he is fully recovered he should be the one who starts. However, he is older now even though he was an exceptional left-back, Everton needs a better LB during the summer. So Baines can replace the new one when needed.
  2. Ahmet Nur Cebi did not say it out of anywhere, stupid sports paparazzi (i don't call them journalist) are asking the same question to him and to the president. What should they say? "No, he betrayed us, he can not come back!!!" or something like that? They are looking for an answer in that caliber. VP and P just being gentle and giving an answer like "of course if he decides..." and yes, if he wants to go back and the conditions are matched for both clubs, he can go back. But he is not looking for that currently. Anyway, Cenk is already replied, he is happy to be there and trying to prove himself. He has just played 2,5 - 3 games in total ffs.
  3. If the management is not stupid enough, there must be a termination clause in the loan agreement. I don't think Everton will have to pay his wage in case of a season-ending injury. It is City's engagement with the player. However, it depends on the agreement between City and Everton.
  4. Evans, Barry, Livermore, and Myhill... Gosh, GTA VI confirmed.
  5. Transfers from Dutch league can be very tricky as their league is tricky itself. A guy can score 50 in a season in the Dutch league and they always struggle in other leagues. I'll be whistling in the dark by saying that but probably near %70 - %80 of those transfers were failures. Sure, there are good examples as well but all in the history, nowadays they can't produce good attackers.

  7. I do understand you mate, I am not Cenk (maybe I am) or Cenk is not my family and all I can wish is to see him performing well like he did for us. He may not perform well, not my problem to be honest. (It's his problem if he wants to be remembered well by the Everton fans more than an "another failure") Here, Everton's problems are the priority, not Cenk's. He needs to get it and start to produce more than what he is capable of. Regarding me, all I was trying to say in my shit loads of posts about him was some critics were too harsh on him before he is allowed to perform. Let's see what he can do after the what Sam wants to achieve in the league with Everton. (Still, I think he is way more talented than Niasse as we know him from Turkish league as well, but of course, Cenk needs to level up asap to get close Niasse's physical condition)
  8. It is your opinion. I have never said that he is a magnificent talent and being CL class striker is not being Raul or someone like that. He was consistently making an impact and was scoring goals for Besiktas in CL. Only questionable part here if you come up with it, Could Everton have been signed a better striker or at least someone who is ready to keep up with PL pace? Of course, Walsh and Fat Finger knew that Cenk is not in PL shape currently and he needs time. This is another question but we all know the answer: Why he has been signed? Name me some players who could have been signed instead of Cenk but the players who can easily be signed (up to be signed by Everton). You are not a financial person in the club, not the manager, not assistant... You can not know what they are demanding from Everton, especially with this form of the club so, name me some players who were ready for PL but Everton choose Cenk over them. I don't see many while I am checking summer transfer rumors. Anyways, these are personal thoughts and time will prove whose thoughts will be accurate. I still think he is a way better striker than Niasse as soon as he keeps up and gets his way back to starting lineup tho.
  9. I think he is trying to be on the safe side and not criticising his manager early before jumping in Sam's haters' bandwagon lol. Jokes aside, he was playing for an attack-minded team and it has changed so far. He was getting passes through middle and wings, non-stop feed, even against stronger sides. He was always there and ready to get passes in the position. Current Everton tactic is quite different and to be honest, Niasse fits better than him except his inability of finishing. I think that's the point where he needs to improve his abilities before it is too late or Sam decides to try out 2 strikers up front. (It is sucks to see this grand old team with this kind of defensive mentality tho, personal opinion) What I would love to see at least next year, more attack-minded Everton with additions on LB and ML/AML and Gylfi in the middle instead of the left wing. Tosun or Niasse up front. (well, of course, I would prefer Cenk. ha!)
  10. Not because I am a Turk who ended up here because of Cenk, Sam's behavior has been unbelievable so far. You like it or not, he was a CL class striker for Besiktas, an underdog team, that secured his place as an unbeaten side through the group stage. Cenk and Anderson Talisca were the main reason for that success. He has already proven himself for many and will try to do the same thing for you. I do understand and many times underlined that in my previous comments, PL is not like any other league but keeping him on the bench like he wasn't able to do something and like it was all his fault, is discouraging. Sorry, my friends. I do understand as well under the current circumstances you are a little bit impatient but if you were expecting any immediate impact, Sam or Walsh shouldn't have risked it and they should have signed an Agüero-like player from somewhere else. Without having proper chances, these judgments I see around are boggling my mind. Rumours, sources, friends of friends saying some stuff are not proper arguments. We are talking about a league where many other talented strikers, even better strikers than Cenk, struggled. Sheva for example and many other unexpected players did more than what expected from them. Also, there was, is and will be no guarantee that he will be successful. He can fail to show what is expected from him even after proper chances he'll get but until that time, be more realistic. It is easy to destroy one's will to succeed with this kind of attitude.
  11. niasse will be on the field for sure, tosun will be tied up to the bench. rest is possible.
  12. It would be great but I guess that he'll get DCL in first then maybe Cenk around 80th min. depending on the score or the play.
  13. If the leaked celebrity nudes, oh sorry, leaked fat sam lineup is correct; - Keane & Mangala, dangerous duo. Dangerous for Everton itself btw. - Surprisingly best midfield preference. - Walcott & Siggy is what you can have at the moment as far as I see... Siggy is performing his best as AMC or MC but unlucky for him, there is no proper AML yet. Maybe next season. - Regardless what day, what time, what year, which species dominating the earth I will not understand why Niasse is on starting lineup. Looks like he is learning by trying out some sort of new tactics, new lineups. Good for him but somebody should remind that fat idiot, end of the league is not that far away. Thanks.
  14. Expecting/hoping a lineup like this but ideas in Sam's head are way beyond my imagination.
  15. 1. Wimbledon F.C. (Vinnie Jones and Dennis Wise, ha!) 3. Nottingham Forest 9. ARSEnal 12. Newcastle United 13. Aston Villa
  16. Ok, let me put my Don'ts on the table then a. "Don't you take it so hard now and please don't take it so bad" b. "And I'm wondering what you're dreaming, wondering if it's me you're seeing" c. "You said that you would be late about an hour or two" d. "Run away and hide from everyone, can you change the things we've said and done?" e. "Well I love your screams of passion in the long hot summer night" f. "And from the first time that she really done me" g. "You're no stranger to the street, don't ask for favors" h. Your hands around my waist just let the music play" r. "I once loved a woman, a child I am told"
  17. He is flesh and bone version of Eric Cartman, it is always someone else. If you are making 5 changes on a winning team and completely changing formation, you can not blame someone else. Looks like to me, most of his players doesn't give a s... about him/his outdated managerial and/or tactical abilities and lost their faith already. 3-4 of them still trying to do their best but can't tell the same for the rest. Out of curiosity, what was the last time Everton played with 3 central defenders and 2 wing backs? I mean, is it a familiar tactical stance for Everton defenders at all?
  18. It is even more defensive than Mou's Inter. This is the lineup of the famous "Park the Bus" game of inter where they were beaten 1-0 but eliminated Barça on aggregate. 4 pure attackers. 4 - 2 - 3 - 1 against Barcelona at its best and expected to dominate CL. Of course it is football, you can even go on the pitch with your kitman in front, score a goal and win. I could understand this if it was against Man. City as they are dominating the game but Arsenal, nah. I bet when they see this lineup, they will be encouraged.

  20. it is a very aggressive defending line-up and when you look at it, it tells you that whoever in charge to put it that way has no expectation about the game instead getting a draw or win with a lucky ball. other possibility is more likely of course with this formation and starters but i wonder what he thinks if Everton concedes an early goal somehow or a goal in 1st half, how it is going to be? will he accept it or will try to change it? i mean it is a very defensive formation and line-up and it is going to be so hard to adjust to a more attacking formation with just 3 substitutes. Interesting choice. Let's see, maybe it works... I don't know if they have a problem between each other, don't think tho, but he was to eager to get him and cenk stated in his first interview that he was impressed with the interest of his manager on him and it was one of some factors convinced him to move to Everton. But yesterday's comments of Fat Sam's is right on the other hand. He is new to PL and PL is way different than any league he has ever played. He needs to improve himself. Until this point it is understandable but it is not the explanation of why he became the 3rd option suddenly, after his 2nd match? Is he that bad? No, i don't think so and if you want to make a point, even as substitute, you need to give him play time on the ground. Otherwise you can not expect him to adapt himself to PL.
  21. well lacazette has been a big disappointment for their side and aubameyang can do a big impact if he plays. most likely he is going to... but his pace can cause some trouble, on the other he has never been a killer as lacazette was during his olympique lyonnais days. to compare, aubameyang is faster and creates more danger in the box but lacazette is a better finish even though he couldn't show his skills for arsenal yet. on the other hand if ozil in a good mood, he is the most dangerous player of them. killer passes... i mean he is f..ing talented. nacho monreal playing really bad recently but bellerin can cause some trouble on the left side of the pitch. mkhitaryan wasn't good enough for united but can fit better to arsenal's play style. it is probably gonna be a good game to watch and i hope you guys can make it.
  22. well theo's double was stunning but coleman's impact was definitely deserves respect. my vote goes to him.
  23. whoa there champ, no need to use bat sign like this, people in merseyside doesn't use coke bottle glasses to read. however i can understand why he wasn't in starting 11 today. everton desperately needs a scorer and i don't think anyone care if it is cenk or someone else. let's be honest, they have signed cenk as they thought he can be the better one than what they have but at this stage if keane ever starts to score every game, they can let him play in front. as we know, cenk is a good scorer but he needs to settle down and try to adapt to english football as soon as he can and try to harmonize with the rest of the team. it is true not being on the pitch even as a sub especially in a game like this where the team stopped producing due to begin to get tired while opponent started to create some dangerous attacks because there is no one to hold up the ball in front. probably it is gonna hurt him a bit and discourage but he won't give up as we know him. it should be hard for him as well. expectations are sky high from you but yet you couldn't show anything. (whatever the reason, when you are desperate, you don't care about reasons) regarding the game, big fat sam could have easily regret his decision to not to make some changes till 80th min. it didn't happen luckily but it doesn't mean it won't happen again. i don't know what it takes to read the game as he is expected to do... is he still waiting some disguised journalists to offer him more money than last time? coleman was a huge boost today, instead of his defensive efforts also his support to theo on the line was perfect. niasse looked up to do something for the team until around 60th. min. and missed 2 pretty easy sitters unluckily but he got tired for sure. siggurdson and wayne was pretty bad in my opinion, walcott is the man of the match. no matter what, it is a good win as it was needed so bad. well done to all.
