  1. We are missing Neville.

were really not. we just cant pass a ball our tactics are hoof or give baines the ball down the left so predictable, kevs been quiet must win or we can forget about europe

  2. This was really a game we should be going to win 20 mintues to go not shut up shop.

We defended well, fellaini was more his usual self think we would have conceded if he played further up the pitch though. pienaar had the worst game i can remember him playing but to be fair he hasnt been at his best for a good few games.

Coleman what a buy he was my motm but distan and jagielka were both solid themseves, arsenal will create chances against any opposition at home so i suppose a draw isnt bad and a fair result but we needed to win to really have a chance on champions league draw feels like a loss to be honest but it was a fair result in the end. they missed a few good chances.

Baines hasnt been involved much lately. arsenal obviously knew baines would be a big player and he took him out the game by putting him in his own half most the game.

need to win at least 4 out of 5 to have a chance on europe.

  3. I'd maybe take Remy. Looks quick and sharp, but no way will we pay him 75,000 a week.

maybe? he could get a game for more than half the champions league sides, would walk into tottenham, us arsenal theres better teams than us 3 who would have him too. To much dreaming on this forum get back to reallity lads.

  4. Exactly what i was saying. It was painfully obvious that walker was causing us problems with his pace, so what does moyes do?

Stick Osman over there who was already blowing out his arse. I really dont understand his thinking at all sometimes.

On another note, was Neville injured? Or just not included?

    do you really care?

agree with the moyes comments, he does do a good job and i want him to stay but some decisions are really basic errors sometimes, osman out on the wing, barkley too no winger, neville was never a center midfielder billy was an attacking midfielder everyone does seem to get played out of postion or end up defensive minded but apart from that and his late subs no one would do a better job at this moment with the players love for the manager imo.

  5. When everybody is fit Neville hasnt been a starter for the last 2 seasons

you have lost it mate finally after about 4 seasons of me moaning every week about him starting ive finally got what i wanted and thats him no where near the playing squad he said the right things to people and the media and was a good person in the dressing room like they all say but big occasions he poo's himself and then in the poor games could never make a 10 yard pass against the likes of norwich, im only 21 but he is the worst technical player we have had since i started watching, how he played for england is beyond joke, anyway feel bad now after all the insults but he wasnt good enough at the end of the day imo fair play to helping as much as he possibly could around the club but he wont be missed by me. best of luck.

  6. You didn't think there was a tad bit too much hoofball at times then?

    A good result overall though.

A tad to much, if it wasnt for victor like someone has already said gettting to things he had no right to get, holding it up and chasing all day i dont think we would have scored 2 goals even though he did have a chance at the end he made it himself. he looks twice the player jelavic is at the moment, i didnt think i would be saying that but he really has come on lately.

osman is so inconsistant one minute he looks a top player 5 mintues later he's given the ball away twice and missed a chance then goes hiding,

how people were saying jagielka for motm cant agree gives the ball away with useless lumps to no one defensively he can be up there with the top defenders but his distrubution is not good enough for me anyway players use alot more energy chasing the ball back and to give it away so cheaply then chase a team on the edge of your box for 5 mintues doesnt make sense to me, dont give the ball away so cheaply and we wouldnt have to use massive effort to chase the ball for half the game, when mirallas went off as usual we had no one interested in actually attacking there team in the second half and trying to score victor aswell but its all to defensive for me in the game now you try and sit back for half the game the goal always comes in the end

it is possible 4th but realisticly it looks in doubt now we didnt win today but you can only hope we can keep going and win some of these teams who on paper are better teams now that fellaini and pienaar come back soon that will help but to beat chelsea and liverpool away were going to have to come on as a team and really push on, we flap at the second any pressures put on in the big games we have to change if we want to get champions league because i really dont think the likes of fellaini baines mirillas pienaars wont want to stay around playing for nothing.

  7. Rather he played, Coleman has him marked. 8 games, no goals or assists. He gets found out against top half clubs.

i dont like him personally hes a diving cunt and coleman has played well lately but to say you hope he plays is just foolish hes most definately in the top ten players of this league how anyone would want him to play from our side is just mad.

  8. didnt no pienaar and fellaini were missing, to beat tottenham with the team we have to start we really do need a miracle just hope moyes goes for it rather than parks the bus for a draw and they nick a late one, if we win we really have got a big chance of champions league still its been mentioned a few times but its up to us now no one else for europe!

  9. so proud of every player yesterday didnt think we stood a chance.

how nice was it to see our keeper not hoof it everytime he got it think that helped us alot yesterday

coleman looked like jordi alba yesterday what a performance

  10. Complete bollocks.

One of the most solid defenders we've had in recent years and his commitment to the fans is second to none. He may have dwindled a little bit this season but in my books he's a fantastic servant to the football club.

    agree

  11. it will all depend on Moyes staying on. Id like to see him step down and maybe become assistant manager for the new manager. Now I know the first reaction would be "are you fkin high, were defensive enough as it is!", but if Moyes does go we need a strong presence in the dressing room to keep the team together. The reason Phil is still being played is because the squad respects him, and i think that will be vital if Moyes goes. He'd also be a brilliant balance with Martinez, who the papers are touting as a replacement...

you must really love phil to say that... i dont want him any where near the young players coming through or telling players how they should play when he's never lead by example but i suppose its inevitable that he will always be around its pissing me off, some of the commentators and radio people worship him like he's some legend ive been saying for years about how poor a player he is and now people are coming round to it he is stopping us from moving on as a team now but moyes keeps selecting him and its making himself look a fool.

  12. Lets not have a fucking brain-fart with 10 minutes to go. This is Oldham Athletic not fucking Real Madrid, we need to just see this game out like the Premier League team we are.

Edit: Unlucky Jelavic, that would have won it.

that is one of the saddest words ive ever heard

  13. Oh and I agree with the whole shot/pass thing for the Oldham goal. In my opinion he took a shot and sliced it, it was never a pass in a million years.

had you not notice neville back off 30 yards before he hit it? worst player in the premier league.

  14. Moyes said he's nearly ready according to one article. That's a big positive sign in my opinion. Personally, like I said, I feel the one thing he needs is Championship level first team experience.

come on seriously.. hulk hogan could have told you that.

i would have him over johnny for a game to be honest he has been awful lately.

  15. some one said above he's playing far to long he was never a great footballer but now he is starting in a team aiming for europe when in all honesty even at right back he never looks like the one to win the ball and thats meant to be one of his better attributes, he backs off untill the player takes him on or gets a cross in, his positioning against united was terrible he just doesnt offer you nothing but people still think his expierience is vital, its not its making us look a man down. when we attack he isnt involved or needed alls he is on the pitch for is his so called " leadership" nevilles never got the game by the scruff of the neck in his life its more than just shouting instructions to the other players if he's that important to us and he maybe because everyone seems to like him at the club, just keep him on the bench so he thinks he's contributing fair enough he should be under coleman and hibbert for rightback but the decison to play him in midfield has really pissed me off over the years because our manager has done so much for us but cant see such a poor idea.

  16. Moyes said: “I thought they [Manchester United] played very well during the opening period, but I didn’t think we helped ourselves.

“We got back into it but the second goal killed it for us. It was unlike us – I don’t know why we were so far up and square at the back. We gave them an opportunity to make a through pass, which Van Persie ran onto.

“Ossie had a good chance and we forced a couple of corner kicks. We put them under a bit of pressure and I thought we played well up until about 20-25 yards out from goal.

“The problem was that if we gave it away, they looked as though they could counter-attack. Wayne [Rooney] and Van Persie were very fast on the break and were always going to be a threat.

“We didn’t have enough when we got into the final third of the pitch today to make the difference.”

Despite slipping to just their fourth league defeat of the season, Moyes commended his team for fighting to the final whistle.

He continued: “We did great to keep at it, albeit Manchester United had a two-goal lead and have a big game in midweek.

“But I thought our players stuck at it. They kept trying to earn a goal and did themselves proud with the way they played in the end.”

    dont agree davey
