  1. Well probiding they stay with us! Look at Mark Hughes, I saw him play a few times for the reserves and he was a rock solid centre back but we let him go...we bought Scott Spencer a promising young striker who is struggling in the academy/reserves. Achiebe and Vaughan seem the most promising...also keep an eye out for Agard, he is doing very well lets hope there is room for another young forward and we don't let him go!
  2. There were a couple of rumours in January of a "pre-signing" deal being done providing Preston don't get promoted but never really heard much more on it. I guess he will go anyway if Preston don't get promoted, to us or another club...
  3. Don't know off the top of my head but please feel free to provide the stats...at the end of the day, a striker is about goals. Look at Drogba 30+ goals and I don't think he is the best in the world but he gets goals which gets the headlines and wins the games. Johnson is 100 times better than BT but still think there are better goal scorers out there, a goal scorer is what we need.
  4. So long as we make a profit I would sell him. Was very excited at the start of the season but just look back at pre-season...Anchiebe was scoring for fun and Johnson couldn't score. Anchiebe hasn't had the chance he deserves and Vaughan is looking awesome...so sell Johnson for £10+ and Beattie for 50p and get in Nugent and a high profile goal scorer, someone like Defoe and then we have 4 very good stikers IMO. Johnson wouldn't be missed...
  5. Hopefully van de meyde will go out on the piss and drown his sorrows as his house got robbed, so Moyes can finally sack him!!!
  6. Hmmmm, not sure on McFadden. I am a big fan of his but when you compare him to Anchiebe and AJ is he nowhere near their talent. Plus, if I was McFadden I would be looking at who is likely to start up front....IMO not McFadden, plus he hasn't signed his contract. I get the feeling he might be gone by end of August (I hope not though).
  7. No way he would go for more than say £8m if he did go. Although he is exceptional, he is spanish...english players seem to carry a premium. Plus that fact Arteta wouldn't go anywhere, you only have to watch his interviews to see he loves the club. And already mentioned, Moyes would be left with a big gap in midfield. lol this is like the cahill rumour all over again....
  8. There is no "shoot the f**ker" option for the poll...?
  9. I think it is going to be BT and AJ starting, Moyes may not want to risk Anchiebe from the start, let him come on at half time when BT has run out of puff. But want a firggin option to have, Anchiebe coming off the bench!
  10. Well Vistor did it again the other night and what a goal it was too. So many times you see pro's sky rocket those shots. He is going to have a very, very exciting season!
  11. Its official, the d!ck shouldn't even have been out drinking! Get rid of the stupid drunk now, never mind fining hiom terminate his contract. Waste of space!!! http://www.evertonfc.com/news/archive/blues-fine-van.html
  12. I think they would loan us Obi Mikel just to spite the Manure...how funny would that be hahaha
  13. lol on local news it says "Police are investigating a number of clubs and bars Andy visited that day".....sounds to me he was on an all day bender, the perfect tonic for pre-season fitness.
  14. So the fact the one person in the Everton squad who has constant rumours of alcoholism just so happens to be the one with his "drink spiked". Me thinks alcohol is taking its toll on andy and he needed an excuse for how drunk he got....if the story turns out to be true then fair enough but personally I am waiting for the "Andy admitted to clinic" post of the OS.
  15. Now, its not that he has drunk too much, someone must have spiked his drinks. The sooner we get rid of him the better.... http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/england...ide/5251518.stm
  16. Parker?????!!!? I am glad we didn't get him originally, he is crap! lol I would buy rooney and stick him to train with the youth team for the rest of his career
  17. Not quite as harsh words but I agree with above post...and I really do believe this is media rubbish so the villa board cave in.....
  18. Disappointing if he ends up in Portsmouth, especially as he, and Billy Davies at the time, said he was not quite ready for the premiership...
  19. Fraid I can....him and Anchiebe are going to be swapping their place on the bench more often than ccracer swaps his spice girl CD's
  20. lol yeah...was talking about this yesterday with friends, he is a big guy but doesn't seem to foul at all just uses his strength to shrug off defenders. A very bright prospect for Everton indeed...just hope he stays loyal to the club that has nurtured him from a young age....the way Everton is heading I can't see why he would want to leave us.
  21. Yep, I think he is staying....he will be low wages too.
  22. I said it all last season after seeing him quite a few times for reserves and I am pleased I am right....Anchiebe is going to take preiership by storm this season. Take last night for example, he has a back problem so only limited to 45 mins and he scores...he is big, strong can hold off defenders, can run and can shoot - he is not shy to shoot either! I really do think Anchiebe is going to muscle Beattie out of his position...
  23. But he has gone to America with the squad so hasn't gone home. I reckon Moyes is going to keep him....lets face it we have Killa who isn't that good and a drunk to play on the left side so Buckley should fill that gap nicely.
  24. Well if Carsley goes maybe more reason for moyes to sign the young lad from Dundee....
