  1. Don't forget a Player has a say as to where he wants to play football, he has to agree personal terms with a prospective club. If Nugent is keen on coming to us and has a whiff that he could then I don't see him signing for Sunderland...
  2. Yes get your point but let's put this in perspective. Let's say Joey is getting £30k a WEEK, he moves to a different city for his job where he get's an increase to £40k per WEEK...that is enough of a bloody sweetener than holding out for an even bigger sweetener of £300,000k....just plain greedy IMO
  3. Loyalty fee....as if they don't get enough effing money.....
  4. Yeah...this is on BBC Gossip column too: Would be very good if true...around £8m though, do we really have that cash? Better (and cheaper) than Fernandes?????
  5. Smith and Nugent are not comparable, Nugent is a much better striker. Very strange there have been no transfer market dealings so far by us, let alone on Nugent...
  6. If we do get him, we have got a very good central midfield next season...would just be wingers needed then. If Nolan is in, Osman can warm the reserves bench
  7. Hmmmm, I am guessing we have not enquired about him yet then..? He seems to be getting a bit inpatient.... http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?hlid=4...ait+for+Everton
  8. Yes, yes, yes! Finally a rumour worth getting excited about...for £4.5m he is cheaper than Barton and a much better player, hope this one is true...
  9. ^^ Agree....Jagielka is taking too long to sign, no solid rumours of a move for Nugent (except nugents desire to come to us) and Manny's price is too high Let's hope Moyes proves us wrong...
  10. lol its Benfica isn't it not Porto. Will be a shame if we miss out but can't see us stumping up £12m
  11. Hmmm, so either a season long loan deal or he goes back to Porto. Lets hope Porto are up for the loan deal...
  12. Wonder if Moyes will see any of this extra revenue from the new TV deal??? I would say £10-£15m max to spend with a few loan delas e.g. Fernandes.
  13. WooHoo....come on Nugent, sign on that dotted line
  14. Its not over until Kightly signs on the dotted line. Imagine if you were him going from Championship football to the lure of the Premiership and UEFA cup football and bigger wage packet...I know which I would choose, but then again I would be biased as I would play for Everton for free
  15. I work with a Wolves season ticket holder, apart from their keep Kightly was one of their best players last season. Young but can't say I have heard much more about him, apart from he is a winger - what we need!
  16. Just to please CraccerC...you could sell Johnson and buy Nugent and Bent
  17. Hmmm, I see Sunderland are picking up the pace to sign Nugent now...£6m plus Stern John. We need to sort this one out and buy him...
  18. He still owns his house in Frodsham...maybe why he may consider coming back to this area. But I don't believe this rumour either...
  19. No but I have seen him play a lot last season...he is a good striker. Half the people on this forum want to sign the names branded about as good when in reality they come to England and are cr@p. nugent's "not even that great"....so define great
  20. well close the forum section then....or stop whinging, it is traffic to your forum isn't it....!
  21. distin is a bit of a loss but the other are cr@p. viduka is getting "older" and frankly another beattie barton is nothing but trouble and wouldn't fit in the squad bramble.....I am physically fall around laughing still at this suggestion......
  22. No, no, no. Harewood is worse than Ashton who I don't rate really. Nugent is the way to go IF we do buy another striker...
  23. You can't mention Nugent anymore, then are being filtered out I mean on the comments you can leave on an article, few days ago you could do it but not anymore.....ooooooh conspiracy theories.......
  24. Nope, would rather Nugent than Ashton.
  25. Saviola is 26 though isn't he? By the time Nugent is 26 I can see him being worth a lot more than £7m... Nugent is available, he is 21, he has easily conquered the Championship, he is an Evertonian, he WANTS to play for Everton... What makes you think some Argentine, unproven player in English football even wants to play for us? You can't make statements "just shows there are better players on the continent" without any justified comparisons to Nugent, taking into accounts age, prospects and goal scoring. Oh and the desire to play for a club too and not where the best pay packet is coming from.....
