    agree, Jags would be a good buy. I still think, despite most people on here, that Nugent will be a very good buy even @ £6m. He is only 21!!! Apart from that, we need a big signing (not Fernandes) in the midfield...but who?

    LMAO...this is so funny! There is no way on this earth we will sell Arteta or Johnson, let alone both of them. Oh and why would Arteta go to West Ham when he wants to go to Spain when he leaves Everton...? West Ham are not even in Europe..!

    I like McFadden but name another time when he did something to help us win a game? He is a squad player yes, someone who can play when all strikers are injured but that's it...would rather have Nugent as the squad player

    They did the same on Nugent. There was an article of the official site saying Nugent wants to come to Everton, it was removed the next day......wonder why?

    Would like to see Matty Taylor here too, would be a very good buy! As for Simek, never heard of the guy and he has hardly made headlines in the Championship....Lescott was talked about a lot when playing in the championship!

    Nope, wouldn't have him. He is average, Hibbert is average, so would rather keep Hibbert.

    Yep, I think this is what is going on. We won't pay £8m+ for him, he only wants to come to us so it is a stalemate at the moment. Unless Preston drop their asking price I do not think we will get him which will be terrible as if another Premiership side get him he will shine for them instead of us....!

    No way to Viduka! Nugent (20), Vaughan (18/19), Anchiebe (18), Johnson (26). We do not need ageing strikers, certainly one that is not athletic! And as for him being Boro's top striker, who else is going to get their goals..?

    Nolan...but depends who else we have in there. Fernandes is good going forward and Nolan strikes me as a battler. We don't want 3 defensive midfielders and Arteta on the wing, need some creativity through the midfield hence my choice would be Fernandes.
