  3. Well at least you know what the alternative is.......... Saying that im in the park end..... at least my Chang is fizzy
  4. Yep its a general thing we get into with liverpool fans...... I guess thats why they call us butter.....(oops) erm bitter Because of the Heysel disaster all english clubs were banned from playing in Europe... at a time when we were at the top of our game and could have gone on to win many things..... Anyway its in the past and I only ever use the argument to wind reds up... anything could have happened but I do agree it stopped Everton football club building on the success that they had already achieved on the few years leading upto Heysel
  5. Im not expecting to mutch.... I just hope its not to cold and they dont run out of Bovril...
  6. Liverpool fans use heysal disaster to mock Everton fans at derby match Why havent the press picked up on this..... I wonder what would happen if we sent the pictures into the Echo.... http://www.strettyender.com/liverpool-fans-heysel-mock-everton-fans

more or less everything............. I love this paper................
  8. Its quite obvious that scousers receive harsh treatment at away games.... I only attend 4 or 5 away games a season but I seem to see the same treatment everywhere I go..... Generally our away is fantastic.. I would say we have one of the better behaved away day supports London games usually are the worst.. sometimes its been the police sometimes the stewards or sometimes just the local people.... We have our bad reputation and its not going to wash off easily..... A few mad ones Ive been "detained" in Saisburys... or was it a Tesco for bying a six pack with a "dodgy" £20 pound note at Selhurst park.... Penned in at White Heart Lane and forced to board a train back to Liverpool after the game.... even though I could prove I was staying in London Im a scouser.... It seems thats enough
  9. Hmmmmmm I wonder who the Ref will be?
  10. I hate this "status" thing its gay!!!!!!

  11. Franky Boyles... My shit life so far...... funny and hes probably having a laugh with it but he says hes made most of the good bits up.... even the bit where he said he had "shagged Tina turner"
  12. Ive read all that and Im not convinced..... people dont realise that these studies COST millions of punds to produce... otherwise... lets just send Big Bill around and get KEIOC to build us a ground.... In fact companies tendering for work will do all that legwork for free (or should do minus some expenses)..... and they come back and tell you what you want to hear...... its not until things get a little more serious that they actually fall over and say.... oops sorry about that... to do x will cost y and so on and so forth..... Im a civil engineer and deal with this all day every day...... If you check the drawings out do they even show the surrounding area???? I know the GFE "pictures" did.... and the ground would have been in some poor fellas back garden...... NOT ALLOWED OBVIOUSLY If I recall didnt GFE say we could have an attendance of 65K on that site????? ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha The "technical drawings" shown dont really allow for any facilities amenities corporates ect ect..... it just kind of looks like "get as many seats as you can in".... plus THERE SHITE..... ok ok ill call them concept drawings.... but im back to the... "ill draw what you want to see..." I guess looking at the ground footprint they are right about moving it "south" towards the Park End.. that would acomodate larger (but not necessarily larger capacity) Park End and Gwladys Street stands... But the plan falls short when redeveloping both the Main Stand and Bullens Road..... I just dont see how there is any room unless Everton bought a considerable amount of residential housing..... Id love it to happen and I hope its true that if all else has failed we are looking to redevelop Goodison Park One things for sure it wont be on the cheap......
  13. I dont see how you honestly think it will be "a lot cheaper" than building a new ground. The problem I have with groups like KEIOC is that they come out with statements that are for the best part made up..... I challenge KEIOC to prove that this is the case... Anyway thats over with now and as a last resort I would like to see us redevelop Goodison Park just because we HAVE to. The stumbling blocks will come when trying to purchase the school, properties off Bullens Road Gwladys Street and that church. Whatever the council say. residents WILL NOT move out freeley and the scool closure will be fought.... Expect to see a "Keep our school in this community" and if residents dont freely move it can take years to get compulsory purchase orders... Im not going to argue against the point to much though as id like to see it happen.... just not going to get my hopes up
  14. Im sure you must have sat in the Bullens Road stand Louis..... Have you seen the size of it?????? There isnt any room behind it.... I dont care wht the council or anyone says... we wont get all the land we need to do anything like that....
  15. If we HAVE to stay at Goodison I wouldn't say no.... It would have to be rebuilt though, COMPLETELY.... Otherwise it wont the requirements set out by the club.... The whole point of the club seeking a move is to increase revenue and that needs corporate money....... The ground footprint is soooo small I just can't see us ever getting all the land required....... Anyway we can forget the Hotels Bars Restaurants and business that come with a new ground..... Its in the middle of Walton for fucks sake... who wants to bring a new business to Walton..... We will be stuck with a pokey little newsagent, a chippy that opens every other week for 3.5 hours and a pub that will want its place right outside the ground..... Id also miss the church but I'm sure "God" has already declared that that church will never ever move... It has to go also Nice new ground surrounded by shite
  16. I wouldnt mind at all sharing a stadium with the other lot. It seems like its are only option and the council are deffo pushing for it........ I wont fancy sitting in a stadium thats only 70% full though..... I dont see how we could attact 50K fans week in week out let alone 60K or 70K.... Im not arsed about all the other stuff... I dont mind the seat colours being white... I dont mind that some dick sat in my seat the week before..... I dont care about the material stuff... Just give me a ground with good facilities that we can "grow into" like my mum used to say.... Just dont mention that fu***ng loop site again ooooo one more for 1000 posts.... Ill have to save it for something fantastic........
  17. Yobo wasnt the captain was he....... I thought Baines got that... thats what the announcer said anyway Cahill, although he didnt do anything fantastic I thought he had a decent game... did alot more on the ball than usual and looked decent in posession.... Felliani had another decent game... deffo not worth less than a 6..... He looked better on the ball, tracked back & tackled well and helped with some good attacking play... still needs to spot things a bit quicker though..... can dwell on the ball a bit to much sometimes... Osman... although I still dont like the guy... seemed to get that hes up for the chop & at least put the effort in.... did alot of running and was allways available for the pass.... Better than usual and 4 is a bit harsh...... Yak.... being on the pitch for roughly 20 -30 mins playing more or less on the left.... & you gave him a 7..... rose timted glasses maybe...... I was impressed also though with his comeback and glad to see him on the pitch causing problems again for opposition defences. Moyes got his game plan spot on IMO.... It may have been forced but when was the last time we got to see three forwards on the pitch at Goodison The team looked balanced in the first half and hopefully we can push this on to Sunday......
  18. Why do people keep refering to record profits...... We made about 20k last year..... I think far to many people are getting confused with the club announcing a "record TURNOVER"
  19. Your assuming things again and pushing it as fact...... Moyes was obviously involved in these dicscussions and was out for the best he could get.....and he got a fantastic deal in the process.....
  20. SSSSHHHHHHHHH!!!! Dont be telling everyone...................
  21. Im happy to say thats just part of the game.... sometimes you will get them sometime you wont.... I would rather that than ruin the game by stopping it every time someone falls over...
  22. ANYTHING can happen in 30 seconds.... goals can be scored, players sent off anything.... I dont want to see the game stopped every 10 mins..... it could just turn into a farce.... Dealing with these thing afterwards is much easier without interupting the game / viewer experience. I agree goal line technology can and should be used as this wouldnt stop the game......Everything else can be dealt with retrospectively..... Getting cought and banned should deter cheating and "SIMULATION". Referees will be under pressure to get their decisions right & panels should be able to "punish" them accordingly...
  23. Now is the time for Moysie to get his complaint in about City..........
  24. Yep Ive had both for the last couple of years... Dont like championship manager at all.... Reading reviews the New Champ Manager game will include new game modes that you can download and play (at cost) obviously) You can download the current real life League positions & stats..... starting the game at different points of the season..... Could you have saved your team from the drop? This micro purchase thing can sometimes add a little variety to the game but some games take it to far.... I hate paying for extra maps & dont even ask me to pay for a "costume"
