Surprise surprise this comes about when the hold on a top four spot is under threat...... I wouldnt be surprised that although Liverpool and Arsenal have apparently raised objections they would be in favour of this going ahead.... after all sooner or later City will be making a push for one of them top four spots... I dont see any other way the sky 4 could "guarantee" there participation in the champions league....

Has anyone ever had a ticket for parking in a supermarket carpark (or any private carpark) and if so what did you do about it? Advice on the internet seems to be just ignore them..... I got a ticket just before Christmas and my better nature just wants to get into a big fat old argument with the robbing sods... however ive been advised that this just makes them try even harder when pursuing you... so has anyone had any experience with these guys?

Ive been out many a time on a Saturday night and got so hammered that I couldnt be arsed waiting in the Taxi line and just ended up walking home.... well If I would have known this..... I got the answer in a very similar fashin to holystove....I just went through the transaction step by step and at the end took into account paying back the £50 and the money lost on manufacturing the shoes.... 1. man walks into shop and gives me a £50 note for shoes costing £21 2. I dont have change so I go next door and swap £50 note for £50 in change at this point I have 50 3. I give the customer his shoes and £29 pound change... at this point I have £21 in my till. 4. the guy from next door comes around complaining about the £50 note and I agree to give him back £50 at this point I have £21 - £50 = -£29 5. Manufacturing the shoes cost me £15 at this point -£29 - £15 = -£44 I hope this is acceptable Bill
