I didn't say Celtic were not your local team. Everyone does not have to support their local team, but as I said when you get hundreds of thousands who have never even seen the inside of the Tattie Bowl, "Glory hunter" springs to mind. Celtic fans calling someone a bigot...I've heard it all now. Look around you at 3pm on a Saturday. there may only be one Aiden McGeady, but he's Scottish, and turned his back on his country because "Ireland are a better team with more chance of success". I say GIRU McGeady, where are your national team in the world rankings? And yes, I chose to support my local club and I enjoy watching them week in week out, unlike about 90% of Celtic "supporters". All the low points (like my club nearly going out of business ) make the good times all the better. I'm perfectly calm. Discussion ended. I'm happy supporting my club as it is, and it would have been less annoying if you asked for everyone's favourite Scottish team, rather than the pathetic assumption that everyone likes either Rangers or Celtic. Oh come on!!! A lot (maybe not you) of Celtic fans absolutely love Ireland, even the ones without a hint of Irish in them, just because it's associated with Celtic. That you can not deny. My team have just won that league, and I can safely say you chose the wrong game to go to. Every time Morton play them it's a case of them playing with a 10 man defence, trying to nick a point. They are 2 terrible teams - although Ayr have been improving recently under a new manager, and Cowden have been getting worse since they lost their manager, and their 2 best players. You should have taken in a Morton game, we are brilliant.

This is the attitude that pisses so many people off up here, and is one of many reasons people hate the old firm. According to you lot everyone prefers either Rangers or Celtic, well guess what? Bollocks. I support Greenock Morton (my local team) and most real lower league fans absolutely hate both Rankgers and Septic. Both teams should just piss off to England and Ireland respectively.

The team I support up here in Scotland won 9-1 yesterday in the league. Got me thinking about the largest ever results in league games. What is Everton's biggest result (in terms of score rather than importance) in a league game?

Well done to the original poster for guessing 4-1. What an excellent performance from the whole team. When Anichebe hurt his leg it looked really bad, I hope he's ok as he's a great player coming off the bench, as shown by his well taken goal.

Dreadful 2nd half performance. Osman, Hibbert, and Neville would have been as well staying in the dressing room. <_< Outplayed, and outclassed in the 2nd half by what is, in my opinion, a poor side. (I mean come on they have Petrov in the middle) had we been given the 1st half penalty that we should have had it may have been a different story.

Good first half performance, especially from Lescott, Vaughan and Arteta. Petrov's challenge on Johnson should have resulted in a penalty in my opinion. Must score more to seal the win though, 1-0 is always risky.

Reasons England are so bad... -McClaren went for the "no one is bigger than the team" approach and dropped Beckham who has been consistently good at International level, and who JT described as a leader. This approach has clearly backfired. - You always go for best 11 players rather than best TEAM - Lampard, apart from the fact he can't play with Gerrard anyway, he just gets the ball and kicks as hard as he can towards wherever you are shooting. - Paul Robinson - I know you didn't concede any, but this guy is garbage anyway. - Players are not picked on form or ability - they are picked because of their reputation. - Underperforming players are not dropped - Reducing any form of motivation. - Rooney = overpaid, overrated bawbag. - Pundits are setting the expectations FAR too high.
