  1. Gave away a soft goal, though Barkley got a small push in the back to put him under the ball !their goalkeeper made two great saves first half, we probably should have won this.Liverpool fans were laughing when the teams were announced, stating our two young fullbacks and new boy beside Jags would never keep them out, to be honest they did great, though have to admit Coleman, Baines and Stones would certainly add a touch of class and more goal threat. Thought Lukaku did well and Barkley is getting there now.McCarthy for me was the weak link today. We can play better than that and will and should finish above the big spending red shite.
  2. First Everton corner Skirtle will drag an Everton player to the ground (as per usual).....the ref will wave play on, liverpool will in their next attack see sturridge dive headlong into the penalty area.....penalty ! and Barry sent off. Replay will show Barry didn't touch him !!
  3. Seems City and Chelsea both, need a good young center back. Now I don't want to sell Stones, but come the day cometh the biggest cheque book. Russian oil against Arab oil............I wonder who has the most oil !
  4. First Derby post Gerrard, he could and did win derby games on his own, with his cheating, whining to the refs, diving.....not to mention his goals. I'd say a pretty even game ahead, unless one team completly bottles it. Great chance to pull away from them, head tells me 0-0 or 3-3........heart tells me 2-0. Hope Stones and Coleman are back.
  5. Probably got a lot to do with the shit he served up last season, some of the football/tactics were so bad it will take longer than this for some to forget. He seems to have learned his lesson, no more tip tap crap !
  6. I'm more 'interested' in the result. Hoping Everton win, the team plays well, no one get's injured.........if that happens and Lukaku hasn't been a world beater, not bothered ! I can't say I'll be watching Lukaku any more than any other player, leave that to you. Good luck Everton........Good luck Rom !
  7. Let's hope West Brom face a massive battle tonight at Norwich, extra time, penalties and defeat, that should help a bit.
  8. Massive banana skin avoided, league cup early round away at a decent lower level team, the type of game so easily lost. Didn't see it, sounds like we just about did the business, in the cup, that's all that matters. Barkley scoring can only be good for the team, he needs to shoot from the edge of the area when he can.
  9. Insults usually mean you've been rumbled ! Go back to ripping up your merlin stickers of Lukaku, you'll regret it when you can't complete your album.......you could always use one of your extra Kone stickers in Roms place You sad prick.
  10. Said the same thing about 50,000 posts back ! I think I'm out of this topic.I saw Rom have a below average game yesterday, along with his fellow strikers.I'm pretty sure he'll have a few more before he leaves us. Kone is a player I could gladly part with, has been a good player, now injury prone and a squad filler.......I could pick him to pieces, pull up stats, insult him, highlight every poor pass and miss control......but I'll keep off his back and hope he has a better game next time out. We've had a pretty good start to the season, every player has played his part, we are a unit and when Naismith got his hatrick probably just about every player played a little part in that, the killer pass, making space etc. Must be hard for haf to watch Everton play, one eye has to be permanently on Lukaku ready for ' the fuck up '.Relax mate no one one here actually loves him.
  11. Just remember him struggling at times, probably a tad harsh to say not good ! mainly just the forward line, dissapointing we should have won.
  12. Plus points, Barkley is improving over the 90 mins, we're blooding two young defenders without embarrasment, saying that Coleman could have made a difference today, still haven't conceded an away goal.......and best of all Martinez has dropped that terrible fucking tip tap crap, even away from home. Martinez tried to sneak that crap in at the start of the season against Watford, but the booing at half time and full time showed him the fans would rebel, so to be honest I think we have the fans to thank for the better football. Today, with the forwards up to the job, three points would have been ours no problem.
  13. Rom wasn't good, Kone wasn't good, Naismith wasn't good, McCarthy wasn't good.!
  14. Scrappy, mistakes aplenty, only Barkley standing out for me. Could go either way. Would a point be that bad here ?
  15. Your blinkers are playing up, or your memory.....suddenly there's a love fest for Naismith, sure I love him for what he did against Chelsea AND the other times he came up trumps and scored good goals, important goals, BUT there have been many times since Steven has been here that many Evertonians have wondered just what the hell the club were doing when they employed him, he had some terrible games (have to admit I loved his passion and effort) so for you to try and run the line ' Naismith expertly occupied defenders nearly every game', is just deluded. There were times defenders didn't even have to be within 10 metres of him and he could run the ball out of play, bless him.Anyway stevie boy has really got up a head of steam now and long may it continue.
  16. It's not an arguement that Rom pulls defenders and makes space, it's a fact, it happened Saturday ! If he has a poor game (and the chelsea game wasn't that ) but still manages to draw defenders and make space for the likes of Naismith, Barkley, Kone etc to score, who gives a shit. I'd rather win 2-0 with goals from Baines and Coleman, than have the best striker in the prem who scores every game and is the 'complete' striker and we lose 2-1. It doesn't matter who scores the goal in an FA Cup final 1-0 win ! Your too wrapped up with one player, it's making you look more than a little pathetic.
  17. So just which Everton striker past or present played/plays better when up against ' better defenders' ! We've just seen us beat Chelsea, Naismith takes all the goal scoring plaudits, rightly so, the whole team played well, Roms has played better than he did Saurday, so has Kone, McCarthy and a couple of others, but hey!.......we won. Guess it was a perfect Saturday for you........a great result and Lukaku miss controls a few times and doesn't get on the scoresheet, doesn't get better than that. Take your blinkers off ! Every single Everton player is capable of having a bad game. There certainly weren't any on Saturday. Why can't we give Lukaku a rest until he has a poor game.
