Enjoy him while you can lads ! He WILL improve with age unless something goes wrong for the lad, Martinez has got a lot of work to do to keep him. Martinez has been entrusted with a backbone of a team the likes of not seen before, the raw talent and potential of Stones, Barkley and Rom. Where ever we finish in the league, there's a big summer ahead for this club.

Let's be honest, let's hope he doesn't do well at Norwich or they could end up above us.But as a person I can only wish him well, if only every footballer had his ethics. He never crossed the white line for Everton and put in less than 100%.

Get over it, if we could defend, his goals, his beast like qualities would have us top of the table. Just shows what a crazy season it's been so far. Posted before I saw the result, big spending rs are no better off than us to be honest. I put £10 each on both of them at the start of the seson to win the prem, Everton were 300-1 and liverpool were 66-1, league position at present blows those odds out of the water.Mind you I think Leicester were 1000-1.Maybe my £10 should have gone on my Dads team.

What if we'd sacked Martinez before liverpool got rid if Brenda ! would klopp have been just what we needed.If that is the case maybe we slipped up. We have got a very good squad, shame if it breaks up before it has a chance to show it's full potential. Martinez tried during his sencond season to out pass every team, playing it sideways, backwards, sideways and backwards again.Some of the worst football I've ever seen, even with a pretty good attacking squad.He tried it against Watford in the opening game of the season, scraped a draw and was boo'd off. Realised he had to change it or get sacked, he has changed things, they are better than they were, well the tip-tap crap has improved. Now he has to change again, kill off teams when we are far the better team, make a few daring subs, have the guts to drop people, give fringe players a chance.Might just work, at the moment it isn't. This football club won't always have Coleman, Baines, Jags, Stones, Barkley, Lukaku and some other very good players, maybe we deserve a really good manager. Martinez certainly isn't a bad one, but if he can't change, certainly there are better ones. Maybe we haven't got enough money to attract big name managers, the present boss at Leicester, would we have wanted him?

To be honest we were probably the better team, but as we've seen lately, that doesn't win you games. Probably need to give Mirallas more game time.

At his best, he would have been the first name on the team sheet ( for me ). Clever player who's link up play with Baines was as good as any partnership I've ever seen. Every team needs a player like he or Osman to get by the parked bus, shame both players are past their best.

I probabably go to more Everton games than you, I certainly watch most of the other Everton games on streams, I've played enough games at center forward and scored way more goals than you could ever dream of Billy! You've just got a hard on because Lukaku missed a couple of goals yesterday. 'recreational poster',.........you might post a lot, but most of it is bullsbut. Keep telling every one that Kone is better than Lukaku, maybe someone will come in with a £50million bid for him Oh, what did I make of the game, what do you think I made of it Billy, pissed of we didn't get three points.

Can we change the name of this thread ! I can't find one thing fuc%ing funny about corners........we can't defend them and we've only scored one goal from a corner in the last 3 years ! If it's true Martinez doesn't practice them, then he needs a good kick up the arse.And, if it's not true, kick him anyway!

I wonder how this existing squad would do with a clever manager, there's a hell of a lot of good players at Everton, we should be thrasing teams. A couple of tweaks, some clever subs and we'd be top 4, no doubt.

You need to check out Romey's link above ! Seems a lot of people who know far more about football than you, had way more ' faith' than as you put it 'hope' concerning Lukaku's ability ! For you to state 'he' (Rom) needs to hold his 'focus' is an insult to the man (mind , you've never been short of those).......What about the 'focus, from his team mates that can enharnce or diminish Lukaku's threat.What about Martinez's 'focus', how he (Martinez) sets out the team and tactics will will have an impact on Lukaku. If the defence plays shit in front of Howard, you don't hang the goalkeeper. The manager and every memeber of the squad need to keep their 'focus', they will as all humans do slip up now and again, and as mentioned above in a previous post, then the rest must step it up a bit to help them out. You were wrong about Lukaku, simple as that ! He's had the ability for years, it was there for all to see, that's why so many people/clubs wanted him. It was never 'Hope' it was 'FAITH'
