Can't remember when it was ( many years ago), I went to see Clive James live on stage, he was doing some kind of book tour and we thought it would be a decent nights entertainment.He came on stage, opened his jacket, took out his new book and proceeded to read chuncks from said book............the only thing that prevented most from walking out, was the fact that they were asleep. There was a question and answer session at the end, one person asked nearly all the questions, wouldn't be surprised if that person left the building with Mr James! Sorry Clive, but it was terrible!

Don't think I've ever seen Barkley play that bad before..........7 ? And agree with Mike Barry was an 8.

I thought he had a good game Monday, whilst still getting used to his new team mates.I think he's going to be a really good signing.

As mentioned above, the Sunderland game we were witness to Barkley at his worst, we all know he's way better than that.Question is how the hell to get more good games out of him.surely if it's in his head Everton can get him the right kind of coach, get his confidence up, get off his back and he could be world class, but he looked so far off it Monday, that you have to wonder. Would we take £30million for him after Mondays first half or will he mature into a world beater, like some thought he would be. Maybe it's a nice problem to have, but how much longer do we want a problem.
