  1. To be fair Moyes had little options today but with todays poor performance in mind I'd love to see this line-up vs Arse (injuries permitting obviously)...

    ...................Howard...................

    Coleman..Jags...Heitinga..Baines

    Drenthe...Rodwell..Felli...Gueye

    ................Saha......Velios............

No chance of it happening but I'd love us to approach the Arse game with a nothing to lose attitude with 'winnable' games vs Norwich and Swansea fast approaching. Moyes could say, "Have a good game vs Arsenal and there's a place in the team over the Christmas fixtures available!" If nothing else it will show how desperate our squad is in need of strengthening!

  2. This argument could go on indefinitely about where he can or cant play, doesn't matter if he plays out wide, inside behind the striker, or in goal, the bloke is never going to be a 8 - 10 million player, and if we could get any money for him i would sell him as soon as, cos he is wank.

Spot on - spoken from the heart!!!

  3. For too many seasons now teams like Stoke have come, parked the bus and left with points as a result of us not breaking them down. We need an injection of attacking flair out wide, in the middle and up top so basically we need at least £20m investing in our squad (for starters).

  4. Did he score his hat-trick against Liverpool on the same day Steve Watson scored a hat-trick for Everton against Leeds?

Charlton 3-2 Shite I now remember who scored the hattrick from this score but had to lookup the scores on the day of watson's treble so feel dirty now!!!

Wasn't it mcfaddens debut vs Leeds and we were all fooled that we had the Scottish Rooney on our hands?!

  5. Yeah, i realised its stupid to sell them at buying price, i'll sell them at £20 if someone is interested + i can meet anyone buying them at Kirkdale Station

If you can get outside the ground you'll sell them outside park end ticket office. If you had known 48hrs pre kick off you could have had a full refund.

  6. I was meant to be going to Everton Stoke tomorrow, but I cannot go anymore, I've got two tickets to sell at £25 each (original price). Lower Gwladys, Block GT6, Row M, Seats 0165 and 0166. Nothing dodgy. Live in Ormskirk. Respond if interested. Cheers!

You've no chance of getting original price. It would be an inconvenience to get them off you when there are still tickets available.

  7. But goals win games

    And we don't score enough

The team who scores the most wins. We may not score the most but if we score more than our opposition then we've done a good job. Yak does as many good things (usually goals) as he does bad... if Yak's not scoring then he's a liability. He had plenty of chances at the beginning of last season and didn't 'do it'. Whatever else happened is history - time to move on.

  8.

The sad reality is people would have had a right old moan if we had resigned him in his 'twighlight' years. He had a good few years at Bolton though. Imagine him, Cahill and Ferguson all getting in the box for crosses, would have been scary for any CB!

Seen mentioned that from 10th min tomorrow Evertonians will sing 'Gary Speed is an Evertonian' for 10mins - could imagine that being quite 'goosepimpley' and a nice tribute. Anyone here this mentioned/ know if it's happening?

  9. Does that mean then Brendan Rodgers could manage Barcelona? Guardiola managing Stoke? You can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear. We do not have any world class players, and by that a world starting IX. Haf is in most part right, not about Felli but about Moyes not moving forward and adapting, don't care who is better than who on a man for man basis, all I know is that other teams are evolving, we are still stuck playing the same way for a few seasons now. Unless the team starts playing with tempo and pressing then even teams like Swansea or Norwich will make us look antiquated FFS! Don't be surprised if Moyes's fate is sealed if we have a take over with money to spend, I don't want him to go, just pull his head out of his ass now and then and see how other managers are doing with a lot less than him. Rant over........ Yay!mellow.png ps... should have a smiley banging his head against a brick wall.......... or a sheep one.......... just for the Taffs!laugh.png

The thing is change in style usual comes with new personel. If we had the money to buy these world class players then I'd imagine we would. Moyes has spent years getting the best out of what he's got - in the early days he at least had enough to freshen things up and move us on. With no investment in the squad for the past 3 years things have gone stale and Moyes hasn't been able to get in those bodies to progress us further.

  10. Sorry I have to say Downing is not a consistant player He's utter shite, He's a corbon copy of Bentley decent cross nothing else to offer.

You could compare every team in the league to one another and at what gain? It's not just the fee its the wages the Club's appeal and the level they compete at that draws players.

Moyes as with EVERY manager has his flawess and for me he is tactically inept at times & negative for the most part.

If you look at teams like Newcastle albiet they are punching above their weight at the moment set up shop on the offensive and it's stiffled teams and it gets results.

..but the comments were regarding the quality in each squad and £120m doesn't win you games. Over a period of time e.g. a season, class will shine through... money buys class! Of course there are occassions where other things affect the outcome - however good any player is they are all human (even Messi). If Moyes spent £120m I'd expect Champions League no ifs, no buts. He hasn't! sad.png

  11. Reina's better than Howard

    Johnson is better than Hibbert

Baines is as good if not better than Enrique

    Jags is better than Skrtel

I'd rather have Agger than Distin with his age

    Bellamy is better than Coleman

Downing is a more consistent player than Drenthe

    Fellaini is better than Lucas

Rodwell and Adam are totally different players - I'd prefer Rodwell

Gerrard is a better all round player than Cahill

Suarez is a player in his prime (one of the best strikers in the world) he is much better and consistent than an aging Saha.

    - they have spent well since Dalgleish has returned and before anyone says Andy Carroll who would you prefer Torres and Babel or Suarez and Carroll?

I hate Liverpoo but they currently have a better team/squad than us and a lot of that is to do with money. Money buys quality if spent correctly.
