Webber should have done that to Vettel a couple of time last season. Even worse Hamilton who just drives into people if the dont just move out of his line, awful awful driver, he'd be dead if he was a generation earlier.
-
You're thinking of Rodwell. Barkley is from Wavertree.. he went to Broadgreen.
Ah that explains it, so we've got another Rooney
-
Thought he was meant to be a posh boy from Birkdale, come across as more Marian Square scally.
-
Cant believe they're gonna use a picture of a bin for the cover, should be him sitting in the goal at half time or the save against united.
-
fact is though man they've spent a lot of money...and is 1 cup no one really tries for enough? they've won summat like 5 home games this season...that's just pathetic..for that money i'd want a lot more than a mickey mouse cup win
Season ticket works out as a £100 per win, ouch!
-
They have to go for it, which is perfect for us as we tend to struggle to break teams down who sit back. 6-2 Hibbert to score! don't care who scores the rest
-
He should be going as a player, he deserves it. (Hibbert as well)
-
Think they should compromise and use it as an away kit, then again City rebranded and it won them a few plastics. I wouldnt be opposed to Everton having a red kit away kit, but a complete rebrand would be disheartening.

Will he be able to fit on the screen?
He could be a John Candy stunt double
-
Sarcasm fonts needs to be instated!!!
I think sardonic would be more fitting, so we can say nice things about how well Daglish is doing

From Heitinga to Olsson... I'll be ecstatic with that. Really.
At least without a world class cb ion the bench anymore, it will be less frustrating watching Jags not get dropped each week.

Not really Pete.. I enjoyed the book but it's aimed at teens and the author is intent on having a girl love-torn between two characters, at times it's a bit much but the story and the thought process behind the character's actions is enjoyable but the film falls short, it's Battle Royale with a 12a rating.
Thanks Louis. I haven't read the books so shouldn't be that much of a let down for me. I'll give it a try next week.

Agree on the Shaky camera, sometimes it was a bit too much! The bit at the start of the games where they chose the weapons was disappointing, I couldn't work out, who died, how many died and how...it all happened too quick and felt like it was bruched over.
Again, it was entertaining enough, I just feel it wasn't what people had hoped.
Is it worth watching if you have already seen Battle Royale? Sounds like The Condemned for girls.

Martin Olssen would make more sense, cover for Baines.

the continental breakfast...as bent as you can get
A big fuck off to the Dutch breakfast of snail butter and 100's and 1000's on toast.

I think I need to stay away from this thread for a while in case I grind people's gears. I wear my hood up even when its sunny so that I look good, I actually like Robbie Savage and I fully understand Twitter and use it daily. I apologise now for the offence cause to you all, kill me now!
, unless your an assassin.

Kings Dock?! Does he own a time machine too?
He can afford one.
Nice to see we're not the only team to roll over at Anfield, not so nice to see Liverpool 3 up in half an hour though.

Zoo's Question of the Day Round 26:
Name Glasgow Celtic's Top 5 all time goalscorers;
1 - Jimmy McGrory (468) (correctly answered by Dalziel Kane).
2 - Bobby Lennox (273) (correctly answered by Dalziel Kane).

Sutton
Guess the 3 Polish are Lucas, Lukas, and Lukasz

Lerner is a villa fan supposidely (long before he bought them). Overall though he's a business man - he put a lot in and yes it was wasted but he's now recouped most of that.
It's all if's and but's about what Moyes could have done with that backing but overall I'd rather be us than them. If we ever get taken over then we need sustainability - we need the stadium... be it redevelopment or from scratch. Villa have just about survived the investment/cut backs but they have a more 'profitable' infastructure - we don't and I'd fear a 'villa scenario' ruining our great club.
He could have invested towards a better stadium for us, as we have better players. £50 mil would have helped us secure the King's Dock stadium, then we would turnover a profit to then improve the squad. Overall we would have been a better investment.

Looking at the list Pete put up there, im not sure he would have done.....
I'd left off Warnock and Heskey which would have been very Moyes like signings. *Football Manager mode activated* Them 2 plus SWP(he's gash though, so eventually fobbed off for Elia) Van Bommel, Valencia, Rodgella, Dzecko, Gonzalez, Defour and of course Mountinho! As well as millions wasted on the media hyped English kids like Delph.
Howard
Neville Jags Lescott Baines
Van Bommel
Arteta Moutinho Gonzalez Valencia
Dzecko
Bench: Hart, Hibbert(Naughton in reserves), Distin, Defour, Osman, Elia, Rodgella
No Pienaar, Heitinga, Fellaini or Jelavic. Are starting 11 is not to far away from this quality, just need some wingers. The bench is were we lack most, not many game changes in reserve... unless you count the one in the reserves *cough* Barkley.
Back to the real world, in all seriousness think we would have benefitted more from the stability of not having to sell rather than being able to buy.
-
Off to Fulham, mentions we were in for him. Hope we hi-jack the move.
-
Lerner has been a great owner, MO'N is a terrible manager. Moyes would have had us top 4 with that backing.
-
Entourage is brain dead stuff, but worth watching if you have nothing else to do. You could pick up a few extra ways of saying cunt
