  1. Kightly could be great but as you say his knees are buggered, would be a risk similar to Lescott. Wolves don't need to sell and might try keep hold to try for an instant promotion. Only way we will get a player off them is if he forces the move, but the likes of Stoke and Sunderland will pump the price up still. That said, with Moyes saying he wants to do things early, I wouldnt be surprised if he already put a bid in for De Vries =/
  2. He looks worth the £9 million they spent on Gordon.
  3. Spent half his life under Ferguson, I wouldnt right him off as a manager should start from the lower leagues though and get some experience. He'd make a great coach (not for corners/crossing practice though, unless the kids need a laugh).
  4. Mesi got nowhere near the Chelsea goal, as their defenders done their job. Just played him on to his right foot and he was little short of useless.
  5. Was a superb goal. Had got Fellaini's mixed up with Jelavic's 2nd which is the only sloppy goal, just rewatched them and I'd be surprised if we ever give away four goals so easily in another match in my life time, everyone of them was easily preventable.
  6. Hart hasn't made a save of note and has had just as many clangers as De Gea, wouldn't even be in my top 10. I should have went with Szczesny now I've had more time to think though. Performance wise this season only, would be: Szczensny, De Gea, Vorm, Krul, Ruddy and Al-Habsi any of these could be keeper of the year. Next best: Hennessey, Howard, Mignolet, and Friedal. Average: Hart, Cech, Reina, Given and Schwarzer The rest: cba naming them
  7. Apart from quiz section all the other misc section is marked unread for me now
  8. IMO our goals 1, 3, and 4 were all our own doing. 1st goal come with a bit of luck, a looped header which was unstoppable. 3rd was a class finish 4th we carved them apart It's hard to see what goal they scored we couldnt of prevented, all very sloppy defending.
  9. Dempsey would be a great mentor for Ross. Never know might even encourage an attacking 451, as Felliani can do the job of 2 defensive mids on his own allowing for Barkley and Dempsey to stay further up the pitch. I smell goals next season
  10. Will be a sadder day than when Big Dunc left. If we're lucky he will stay one more season and hopefully a top 4 finish will convince him to stay longer.
  11. They paid over £6.5 mil for him, so £10 mil seems reasonable.
  12. Player: RVP not scoring as much now, but probably the most consistent goal scorer of any premier league campaign. Few worldies as well. Young Player: Victor Moses Goalkeeper: Vorm and Ruddy have been immense, but going for De Gea as he has made harder saves. Best Rookie: Cabaye Edit: Hoolahan, let go by Rovers as a kid and made his way back up from non-league and proven he can play at premiership level. Don't see why Walkers getting a mention. I've been disappointed watching him after that game against us, whenever since, I've watched Spurs I've noticed he really doesnt do much. Hibbert should be ahead of him for England.
  13. Same as the top half, but I can't support Hamilton. For me he has the cuntish ego of Alonso but less talent. Lotus got a bit lucky y'day, could make for the most competitive season in a while.
  14. Surprised no ones added Jones yet, in Moyes words 'made up his own rules'. Weren't Clattenberg meant to be the ref y'day?
  15. Baines hasn't even had a good spell though, Hibbert/Neville have stood out for me more this season. Baines should have had been in it last year.
  16. Evans has 14 clean sheets and has been given a lot of credit in utd's turn around. Baines is 11th in TT's motm ranking, Barkley has one more vote and only played 4 games, very hard case to make out Baines has been good enough this season. I can't stand either of the LB's I named but both have done more than Baines this season. The united fans I know, all wank over Evra(as they do for most their players though).
  17. Summoner that came with the PS2 launch was a quality RPG, never seems to get a mention.
  18. This with added swear words, aggression and some confusion/WTF Moyes from me.
  19. Gary Neville made a few funny quips about Ferguson before the game. Joking they'd give him a cuddle and ask hows things as he was a nightmare to play against when he was angry.
  20. That teams pathetic, should be more on the lines of this Vorm/De Gea/Krul Hibbert/Neville/Simpson/Kelly Kompany/Skrtel Evans/Lescott Evra/Ekotto Fellaini Silva Dempsey Sessegon Mata RVP Goalkeeper: Too tough to choose, but if you believe it's Joe Hart you are a patriot of the utmost blindness of a Liverpool 'king Kenny fan. Defenders: Few Swansea and the ex-united Sunderland players have done well, Vermaelen has come back and cemented Arsenals champs league place, and Heitiniga has come in and give us a calmness at the back but its hard to look past the others I've mentioned. Midfield: Cabaye, Parker and Arteta just missing out as Fellaini has just pissed all over the champions. Hoolahan and Dyer not far behind. Moses has been the only positive for Wigan this season, and Valencia and Sigurdsson giving a late shout. Strikers: Rooney has been very hot and cold, even some sensible utd fans will admit this, with 2 dry spells. Aguero has been MIA for the middle of the season. Ba and Adebayor both had great first halfs, likewise with Jelavic and Cisse for the second half. Only one man who's stood out every week and thats RVP.
  21. Thats 19% of our total goals. Hope we go into next season with this mentality.
  22. Notplaying Neville in midfield is hardly anything the majority wouldn't do. Alex Ferguson "their goals were really soft goals. We've created good goals by really good football, I think they got their goals real easy.
  23. Neville should never of been in midfield. Gueye on and Osman in the middle would have been a better team to get at them.
